He knows himself as well that's why he cried and said I know many trainees deserve this spot. He's not my bias but I feel bad how he's taking all the pressure because of his fandom. He's really working hard but it's his first time to be an idol trainee so yeah he needs more time. I hope his fandom will realise that.

Well actually yes, we can’t pretend as if it’s okay and ignore their mistakes at this time. These boys have no time and they know it too. I think the fact that they have to rush is taking up more space in their heads than concentration and practice. They have put a lot of effort into it but just not much as they should be. Jerome.D is much taller than other so he has to bend over more to make it look alright while with the shorter members in his team. He isn’t very fluid as other but Lisa was fair enough here. It must be hard for them but the last 9 boys could be any of them so they should practice more.

And from this you see that Lisa is what a good mentor is, ready to point where it’s wrong without needing to fake being nice just for the public

Of all the trainees in YG only the four of them chosen to be BLACKPINK members otherwise why would the strict company YG debut them? In a group theres always the most talented members in a certain areas for example Lisa: Dance, Rosé: Vocal, Jennie: Rap, Jisoo: Entertainment.

I know why Lisa somehow looks upset because in reality if ever they debut due to tight schedules there will be too many times that they have to practice for 1 or 2 days only they are lucky enough to be given a 1 week preparation and at this rate even though there are members who do well when the time comes for the show to begin ofc they will be seen as a group not as an individual one mistake of one member will affect the whole group so I guess that's why she ask how many days left for them to practice 😞 this is a competition afterall not just some free training...

I wish people realised s. korean idols are not the same as chinese idols, chinese idol entertainment is not as developed, after the group debutd it's very unlikely they will ever perform as they do during the survival show. If you know the previously debuted groups from iqiyi you'll realize they spent most of their time acting on tv shows or going to variety shows rather than performing their songs. China doesn't have its version of mcountdown or inkigayo, the idols don't perform weekly and the market is oversaturated. Just look at THE9, do you think their songs or choreographies are difficult? and they have performed mostly in special events. The group members will actually do different activities for most of their career.

1-2 days for their song maybe yes, like for the rehearsal. Or at the very most for individual in singing. But for a whole new song and choreography for the whole group, the company won't be that dumb tho to do that.

@@varnasuresh800 What the show expects is to earn a bunch of money from the fans, and you really used the worst example to defend your argument, having a mentor who doesn’t speak the language and doesn’t actually go there to teach the trainees shows they don’t really care about how talented or skillful they are in the end, it’s a popularity show and it wants the most profitable trainees. The members of THE9 debuted because they had strong fanbases who spent a whole lot of money buying votes. The Produce shows are successful as TV shows. It's more about the SHOW and not about the music/group that is created.

She was present there physically last season untill it wasn't possible for her anymore. Ofcourse the show expects bunch of money. They are hoping to increase the international fans. And these international fans are going to have our own standards despite whatever it is. And people are going to say their opinions no matter what, which they obviously should.

she's too straightforward, no sugar coating. but she's too scary. perhaps among the mentors, trainees are most afraid of her haha... she's giving criticism without trying to be peronal in some sense. without trying to really hurt them but just being real so that they could improve. how much more if she's together with them. i love her so much!

The voting system in the international app iqiyi doesn't vote for their debut ranking but for their international popularity that goes to advertisement endorsement, more screen time etc. for each trainee

Fans from Weibo are furious that Liu Jun got "Bamboo" instead of "Way Up". Fans initially voted for him to be in "Way Up" but he somehow ended up in this song (dk if it's a coincident or arranged intentionally). Now with him being the only strong one in this group, he has to pull everyone together, especially when so many of the other members are not on the same level as him. If you notice other groups, most of the skilled trainees are grouped together. Unlike Bamboo, as Jun Liu is the only skilled one here. He has to multitask; mentor, teach, correct, lead both teams and it's not easy. Eventually when the 2nd round of elimination happens, most probably many of those from "Bamboo" will have to go home, leaving the team with many empty spots. Trainees from other groups will need to join "Bamboo" and again, Liu Jun has to rearrange the choreo positions, teach them the dance and basically start all over again. I hope that Wang Nan Jun (Krystian) can join "Bamboo", as he wants to be in this song and can help Liu Jun out. This way, Liu Jun won't experience burnout and can focus on refining their performance. At least this group will have 2 skilled members to even things out. I just hope that Liu Jun receives fair treatment and get what he really deserves, as it would be a great disappointment to see such a talent go to waste.

I just really hope that Liu Jun (or any other trainees) doesn't get "used" by the show for mere effects or for the sake of attracting views. It has been quite disappointing to see Liu Jun's screentime is only dedicated to him when he's teaching / mentoring other trainees. Other members get "extra" screen time for personalised close-ups (which highlights their personalities outside of class) whereas Jun is only shown when he's mentoring other trainees. Honestly, if he's only here to mentor and teach (if that's the whole intention of the show having him here), might as well hire him as a choreographer / instructor and credit him properly, like the previous season. Make sure he gets paid. I just don't want to see him stuck at the 10th place and get eliminated like that. He has, after all done so much and far more than what trainees usually do. He's overworked and "underpaid". Just because he doesn't have a huge terrain of resources like some of the other trainees (having huge fan bases & large companies to manage their publicity), he gets the smaller piece of the meat. This leaves him at the shorter end of the stick. However, if he debuts, this will prove that Liu Jun achieved success with hardwork and no one will question that. So people, do your thing and vote for Liu Jun. He needs to be seen and acknowledged, simply because he deserves it

Jun Liu’s official fan club chose for Jun but ended up in the team. Jun Liu stays up until early morning everyday just to teach his teammates dancing and he’s getting skinnier. This is not the first time that IQIYI made Jun Liu a free dance mentor in this show. Can't deny the fact that IQIYI is causing a huge chilling effect. The way how IQIYI is being unfair and trying to bury Jun Liu by cutting/excluding Jun's parts from the official episodes. Eg. Jun stayed up and taught the trainees to dance the theme song until early morning yet ended up standing in the last row of the final theme song shooting stage. Eg. Lisa praised Jun Liu as he aced the theme song within 6 hours but IQIYI only mentioned another trainee and excluded Jun. Eg. Jun choreographed the dance for the second stage performance 玉 but IQIYI didn't mention it publicly. I just genuinely hope that all the audiences can pay more attention to trainees who are talented such as Otter and Jun Liu. IQIYI may choose to shut their eyes but we audiences must not sleep on their talents!

I love how jun liu was so hardworking to help his co teammates, and lisa was right lots of trainees want this song. I hope some trainees realize that when they debuted they will have much more schedule and sometimes you will learn the dance for only one day. Thats how i observe on yg trainees, yedam from treasure only took couple of hours to memorized the moves then performed it on stage. Ywy3 trained them to be used onhectic hour and improve their capability to be an idol.

Lisa has sharp eyes. Those she recognize are really on the top 9.

Lisa won't lie and she'll be honest. It's the best thing about her.

She's a REALLY GOOD teacher!!! I really love watching her breaking the moves down to help those who are struggling. She's hyper aware of the body parts involved and details of every movement in the dance.

Could anyone talk how she slayed short curly hair😭?

I'm really glad she said it, cause at the end of the day this is a competition, if he doesn't catch up he will make the team look bad. It is really disheartening cause I bet he didn't expect to get as far cause he doesn't have enough bases in dance so he must be having a really hard time and if he were to make it to the top 9 thanks to fans votes he will have it worst when learning choreos, cause idols normally only have 2-4 days to learn a choreo some even have just 1 day.

South Korean idols are different from Chinese ones, they will perform at special events like New Years or awards at most. They will spend most of the time acting on tv shows or going to variety shows. And look at THE9 choreographies and tell how hard they are lol.

@@Si-vk5lp it's still a competition nevertheless. You have to perform your best at the end of the show to be selected. Idol should be ready all the time regardless if they are attending music, variety or drama related activities.

@@lshwin This is a survival show not a talent show, people choose their favorite trainees and they vote for them. And the audience may like someone who is the best dancer, or someone who looks good, or someone who is humorous, etc. Either way, at the end of the way the trainees with the most fans willing to spend money to achieve their debut win, this is a popularity show. All members of THE9 debuted because their fanbases spent a whole lot of money buying votes, only the profitable trainees are selected.

@@Si-vk5lp they need the standard... what's the use of having this show.. if you can't live up to the standard... Korean and Japan produce exists they need to be atleast within the zone... Chuang also exist

I'm afraid everyone expect too much from Liu Jun. I knew he's a professional dancer but you can see how tired he is when he teach the members (i meant just looked how sweaty he was). Fortunately, they all got along well and I love to see this friendships 🥰🥰 FIGHTING 'BAMBOO' TEAM!!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Jun Liu gives me Woozi vibes for no particular reason but I love it lmao

One thing about Lisa, she never yells at them even though she was frustrated with their performance. She never gives up on them no matter what. She will always correct what she sees wrong. She aims for a spectacular show, not mediocre.

No one can judge Lisa on how she so strict to them. She has a lot of training for almost a year since 13yrs old and she know how to improved them. ♥️

I discovered Jun Liu in 1 million dance studio. He really is a very good dancer.

Jun Liu deserve to be on top ! Really had the quality of being an idol even as a leader ! Just took as examole of him being a leader where he stated that even few of them rank lower and it depressed them and he said just let's work hard together so that they could make a big progress.

@@megan5529 its because they are a team and if they win in score ranking they’ll get 500k points. So in the end they all have to help eachother and since liujin is an amazing dancer he has the ability to help them the most when other dance teachers are not monitoring them.

@@arfahyuki8950 damn chill, even if lisa didnt say that liu jin most likely would help them out and will never be annoyed. u should understand that lisa has been there. she is the one who r ppl always rely on in terms of dancing. they are in a team ofc liu jin also want the best for his team cs he want to win. cs theres rlly no one else to rely on that team except liu jin. so what can she did ab that, she only can trust liu jin. if he didnt help them, his team is in danger and most likely lose. and i admit the show rlly is did him dirty and its so upsetting. he deserves better though.

I'm just so upset for that words and also this show oftenly show his effort to teach other trainees but not showing anyone of them talking about his effort eagerly during the interview instead of saying how the others hardwork and praise their improvement... Iqiyi always showed like that before... I'm just so scare it will happen again and then people start to talk about how other trainees improved and how mentors praise them Ignoring Liu Jun's effort to he shown n talk to...

Hello everyone who sees this, Junos are upset. We voted Way Up for him, yet he was sent to Bamboo. Why? they're obviously treating him as a free mentor. The teammates in this group are fairly weak in dance, so it's highly likely they sent him there to teach, to try to make it not look as bad as it would have. This boy stayed up all night one night, went to work at 2 am another, and this morning he went to record and only got off work at 6am. He's working tirelessly. He's doing rap this time. Does he have enough time to practise, when he's putting so much time and effort into pulling up his team's standards 24/7? i doubt so. His sweat is dripping down his face. He's tired. Anyone would be, when you have to teach 11 people and make sure everyone is in sync. So you can understand how furious and heartbroken we feel, seeing him apologise to us and seeing him work so hard, still smiling through it all and willingly and patiently teaching all his teammates. Rememberer, he's an individual trainee with no company to back him up, and 271 is blatantly exploiting him. The only thing we can do now is to trust Liujun and his teammates to pull this off well, in such a short time. Junos, keep that anger burning. We HAVE to help him debut. Votings start tmrw, please join mass voting groups asap (you only need vpn and an incognito tab, come on twitter and ask any fan acc for help, they're friendly), if you can donate, donate. Malaysians, I know you're proud of him, I'm so happy for him too. But dont just say that he's our pride, put in effort to vote for him too. Many of you say you're supporting him, saying that you're proud of him, how many of you have joined mass voting gcs? Do everything in your abilities to help him out, or we'll just be stealing all the credit while doing barely anything, leaving it all to Mainland Chinese voters. We dont have enough time or people for him to debut with a higher rank, which he is definitely deserving of. Please help if you can. We cant afford to slack.

Not when the show has sabotaged him, they’re making him do all this for nothing. They know his stage won’t win he won’t get the votes and he won’t debut.
