TheCockyUndead They were always meant to be canon. That’s why in the first avengers film they were so overtly romantic. Joss Whedon pushed Nat&Bruce and gave Clint a family. And then they didn’t even decide to follow through with that detour from the original plan so overall, a clusterfuck of disappointment (though I don’t like Nat&Bruce romantically). Wither clintasha is romantic or platonic, they still have one of the strongest most meaningful bonds in the MCU

@@BackwardBlossom I never knew that they were originally supposed to be together romantically! I can't believe Joss RUINED it! Actually....yes, I can. Not to be all controversial (if this opinion even is), but AoU really made me lose any respect I had for Whedon. He's just not as creative and awesome as everyone seems to think and I will be FOREVER BITTER about how dirty he did Nat/Clint and just Clint in general. But you're right. Whether Clintasha is romantic or platonic they have one of the strongest relationships/bonds in the MCU and tbh Endgame reminded me of that.

OMG THIS WAS SOOO WORTH THE WAIT!! Love them sooo much and this shows their story perfectly even though it’s heartbreaking ,ugh I’m STILL not over Endgame,I don’t think I ever will be. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE 💗

This is kind of a bullshit ending but I hate what happened in endgame sooo *Alternate ending time* Nat and Clint get to Vormir and start fighting over who sacrifices each other, and the Red skull? He breaks down. He’s been here for over a century. He’s seen so many people, who love each other so MUCH, and he’s never stepped in, because he’s not allowed to, but now? He is. He hates that stone, because he doesn’t understand why so many people have to die for it. Sure in the beginning he saw some sliver of a reason, it’s a deal. To control life you should sacrifice something, but now? After being desensitised to it all? Fuck no. He’s seen their lives. Clint saved her, and Natasha has devoted her entire life to make up for it, by saving people, to get rid of the red in her ledger, and that’s enough for both of them. Nat believed she would never get rid of that much red, but she had, just by suggesting she sacrifice herself for half of humanity, so Red skull finally gives in. That tiny Infinitesimal piece of humanity he thought had been torn away from the original serum, that he’d fought against for so long, finally cries out and he embraces it and gives them the stone, no sacrifice required, and he crumples to nothing on the spot.

I love you for this, adding they go back kick thanos' butt all the way back to China, love each other, his wifey dies, nats there for him, they fall in love, happily ever after the end!! Done! Budapest? Not needed! Life? Solved! Depression? Over! Hotel? Trivago!
