I see a lot of comments of people saying, "I saw this movie once and won't ever watch it again." I've watched this movie at least 5 or 6 times since I first saw it a couple years ago. I get why people wouldn't want to watch it again, but it's such a sobering look at addiction. It's one of the best films ever made, in my opinion.

@@mahamodhassan2290 You’re kidding, right….?! I never said the movie was 100% on drugs or addiction, what I said was it’s a very true tale about addiction, which it is! It shows the beginning stages (the party stages, and how much fun it is) and gradually shows the slippery slope where they have to find their fix before they can even remotely function. The movie and book, absolutely show the true side of addiction. The movie shows what greed/desire can unfortunately do to you, and used drugs/addiction to portray it to the audience.

I only watched the movie at the cinema, once. The volume was so loud, I felt sick. It was a complete perfect experience. I do not want to taint that memory, so that one time will be the only time I watch it. At the start there was some young men behind me, bit loud, looked upper middle class. Snickering at the main characters use of drugs at the start. When the movie ended, not a single word was said. Snickering was long gone. Nobody actually said a word until we were outside. I felt like shit. By the looks on everyone else, so did they. Perfect.

Though most of the symbols of civilization and prosperity still remain, they are affordable for fewer and fewer. Unless you come here illegally, then they give you whatever you want. Там показаны зависимости не только от наркотиков, но и от любви, от славы, зависимость не восприятия себя. Реально посмотри. And before we go touting the Scandinavian countries as socialist countries. We should remember those are capitalist countries with heavy wealth redistribution programs. The answer? Gold and silver. If you have paper money it is a certificate redeemable in gold and silver. Accountable money. No more black budgets. The wailing trombone prys your soul open, and the sharp stings of the strings make it to the bone like scalpel slashes. The song is crying to you, but you imagine your own face. Everything was fine 30 seconds ago, but the dread creeping up your back and onto your shoulders makes you realize that you haven't thought about that thing in a while. That thing that is now glaring at you, screaming, begging to be resolved... So you cry out to the music, but it cannot hear you, because it wasn't made to listen to people.

This movie is epic and it shows ultimate result of being a drug addict and its horrible bad sides, like losings humanity, losing morality and all sorts sence. It’s a dark movie with powerful massage that convey how dangerous drug can be destroying lives, and our obsession our desire sometimes kill us if we don't control it put a break to the unrealistic unsocial unhealthy life style. Often our life needs moral strict law and education about basic thigs, there is a saying that be become what we consume, we need to be carefully what we consume!! This sound track is a masterpiece it holds the audience breath and keeps you in a haunting feeling of surprise. I really here this track whenever I'm tensed and its like a countdown to bad thing going to be happened. That feeling is alive and uneathly presence is really crazy.
