Clinical Pastoral Education training programme for healthcare chaplains
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is an internationally recognised form of practice-based learning for healthcare chaplains. The first pilot unit of CPE in the NHS in England has been hosted by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and sponsored by Health Education England. This rigorous course is equipping healthcare chaplains to provide expert spiritual, pastoral, religious and cultural care to patients and those important to them.
