    These Walmart Realtree climbers are on sale at Walmart right now for 78 dollars online. I considered buying one but I ended up buying a used summit climber for 120 dollars instead. Cool video!

    I'm pretty sure Primal makes that Walmart climber. I trust them as a company. Their stuff is very decent and priced reasonably. Thanks for taking the time and making the video.

    I lost the bottom on an old climber too... I was way too high to jump. I had to wait on someone to come with a ladder. I have a viper SD and bought third hand stabilizer straps. They really stabilize your top section and if you leave them on while Climbing they serve as a way to get your bottom back if it falls out. Thanks for the awesome review!

    if you are looking for a good and cheap aluminum tree climber stand, I can say go for it. I bought one in October of 2021, and it is as good as the expensive ones. Honestly, I have not seen another one made of aluminum that will do the same work at the price of $150 + tax since that was what I paid for it. I just did not install the backpack straps since I had a broken backpack sprayer with nice straps, so I used those instead.

    I'm 75 and had a few different stands the Walmart one is a kick off of the old man stands with pivoting arms that articulate in to a triangle that can pinch your body and must be secured not to move, good stands in there day but lots of flaws you have to figure out . were not hard to climb with, easy to pack will fold flat had better seat. Better of to buy a good used summit make sure its aluminum not steal or buck shot. My old summits we expanded foam filled ourselves still using them

    On my Summit stand, I wouldn't go up a tree without stabilizer straps. I made my own straps, and they work for me.

    I also have the SD SPECIALIST . I absolutely love my stand. I have actually harvested a few deer sitting down so the open front is a must for bow hunters. My SD has the mesh seat and love that feature because when I stand up it just slides back with no extra movement or sound. Summit is the home run hitter in the climbing stand category solid 10 out of ten. Good luck this season my friend aim small miss small

    Great Video! Also, I scored that walmart stand for $125 on "Manager's Special" Really Cant beat it, Im gonna make some updates to it though, I'll let you know how it turns out! Side note, that single seat strap may seem decently comfortable but for a big dude like myself, I found that after about an hour if you are not seated properly that single strap can bruise some of the muscles and cause an annoying amount of pain in the groin area.

    I like both tree stands and I know how to improve the cheaper stand with the foot stirrups as the ones on the more expensive one bolt on and can be replaced also I always add heavy webbing straps that I can adjust between both the top and bottom sections so that the bottom does not fall out from below you as for the wiggling back and forth it has to do with the size of the terr diameter a larger diameter tree will not allow that as much. Also I know how to improve the padding in the armrest and shoulder straps for a more comfortable fit I had one similar to it befor and it worked. I would like to ask where I can find summit tree stands for buying parts if you can help?

    Honestly you can mod that cheap strap stirrup by using a piece of aluminum stock or even go loghter and use pvc and paint it

  • @bluecollaroutdoors5556

    @bluecollaroutdoors5556

    2 жыл бұрын

    I’m sure you could tighten the bolts extremely tight to keep the arms from being able to move, but that will take away the advantage of being able to fold it up nicely.
