Climbing to the top of Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano), ITALY
We explore more of Milan in this second vlog of ours from Italy. From visiting Brera Art Gallery (Pinacoteca di Brera) which holds some famous paintings to visiting the oldest active shopping arcade in Italy, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and finishing the day climbing to the top of the incredible Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano).

TIP: when visiting Duomo di Milano (Milan Cathedral) you should definitely book ahead of time if you want to either climb the stairs or take the lift to the top. Both lines to begin this activity is outside of the cathedral and you should give yourself ample time to find the meeting point/activity start point/location. Also, even if they are skip-the-line tickets, there will always still be a line but the wait just won't be as long compared to if you didn't have it at all.

Hmm dunno about weird 🤔 but the most unexpected was probably when we were in Vietnam and we were on the way to the Cu chi tunnels! We get recognised a fair amount in NZ and even in small towns randomly which is always a nice surprise when people say they watch our videos but for it to happen in another far away country was extra unexpected 🙂 we've done 2 live q&a's before.. but maybe should set up another some time since it's been awhile!

Milan is my favorite Italian city. Its well-kept historical sites, majestic Milan Cathedral, and many art galleries with massive collections make people reluctant to leave. Thanks for sharing, and relived my trip to Milan last year Welldone guys 😍🥰🫶👍

Pete had deep fried Pizza in Scotland once called "Pizza Crunch", I imagine yours was a lot nicer, Yen 😂 The pizza in Italy is amazing, you could just eat the base on its own. The Cathedral looks absolutely incredible ☺

Hahaha Yen doesn't eat gelato for my sake... for many years I was an ice cream addict and didn't realise the whole time I'm allergic to it 😢 if I see her eating ill get tempted to eat too 😅

Milan is one of my favorite city, with historical sites everywhere, many magnificent cathedrals and art galleries with massive famous collections, it is a beautiful city that makes people miss it. Thank you for sharing that relive me the wonderful journey of last year in Milano Good job guys ❤❤👍😍🫶🫶

Buffalo cheese is super delicious especially on Margareta pizza 🍕 🤤 mainly for the texture the flavor isn't very strong
The food in italy looks so good, want to go there to try it out.

Oh so glad this helped! When you're there it's so gigantic and not obvious where to go plus not everyone speaks English so when we were inside one of the security people told a group of girls that the dome climb was closed and they were distraught coz they had paid for their tickets (even got quite upset at why they would sell them if people can't go and it was their last day in Milan too etc) and they just ended up leaving! We instead tried asking a few other people and found out the entrance was from the outside and very much still open thankfully 😅 hope you have an amazing time! 😊

Hi Yen and Peter. If I'm not mistaken I think the biggest cathedral in the world is St. Peter in Vatican, not Milan's Duomo.

Yup you're right it's St Peter's basilica in the Vatican which we actually visited just a few days ago 😁 in this Milan video we mentioned that Milan Duomo is just one of the biggest 👍🙂

I think it was really quick to get to the first terrace part.. maybe 5 or 10 mins. Honestly the lines and the waiting took far longer! 😆

😂 you and L H can always tell when Yen is a bit sick. She had a slight cold since milan cause of the big temperature shift from Thailand. Unfortunately she got sick again now that we're in Morocco but it's only a lil bit. I think my stomach is Italian cause I could eat pasta and pizza all day everyday hahaha. Yen on the other hand is craving those noodles 🍜 😂 Margareta 4 life ❤️
