Geez, I dont know why anyone would complain about the views, especially on the North Kinsman😊 beautiful. Looked like comfortable weather that day. You guys made good time with all the rock scrambles, way to go. And a very nice place to stay to get chores done and sleep. Big hugs to Leo ✌️🫶

Hey brother. Been awhile - we met in March at a hostel - you were sitting by the fire place and my son and I walked in and I recognized you. I completed my AT hike in 2023 and we were going to do a few days of Trail Magic. Glad to see you are hanging tough and the finish line is getting closer. NH and Maine were physically the toughest for me, so all I can suggest is just do what you are doing. One day at a time. While watching your video I was looking through the Class of 2023 AT hikers and man what great memories. You’ll have them as well and definitely something to look forward to. Stay strong and best of luck.

Glad to see the retractable leash is working. That’s all I use. Have hiked hundreds of miles without any problems. One thing I do that frees my hand from Holding the leash is to put my waist Strap from my pack through the leash handle. The leash will work as if you are holding it, but you’ll have both hands-free. Leo is awesome. Thanks for the time you put in so we can follow your journey.

Thanks for the gorgeous views and videos of your climb. You are in my territory now. I live in Maine but have done a little of hiking in both Maine and New Hampshire. I have visited all the huts in the whites and have stayed at many of them. Glad the weather has been good these last couple of days and hope it continues.

Great views brother. That lonesome lake hut is cool. Went there many times with my family. My brother peter went swimming in there despite the leaches!!! really enjoying your video's and reliving the hikes. Da Breeze

@@CaptainKmac And Michael was right about the food. They offer free leftover breakfast food to hikers, and the soups and baked good they sell are affordable and very good. Worth stopping there for at least a 10 or 20 minute break.

Math at 5:38???? maybe 1.33ish mph. Which is still a good clip for the Whites. Being even more picky here. They are "Cairns" one syllable not "kar-ens". Ok on a nicer note. Welcome to NH. You are doing great. Hope the Whites were as special to you as they are to us.

Yes, Michael. Between one and two miles per hour is doing well in the White Mountains. Be wary of injury or misery by trying to go faster. The Kinsman Ridge is a mere introduction to the challenges you'll face as you hike east of Franconia Notch.
