Oh thank you very much for watching. I hope you've made it to the top of Kazbek. Would love to hear about your experience!
Looking to either climb Mt. Kazbek or Ararat next year. At first i wanted Ararat only but i think the views are more interesting in Kazbek due to surrounding mountains. Ararat is a bit lost there on it's own haha.

Both are wonderful options. Unfortunately I have no video from Ararat, I have climbed it back in 2019 and didn't film anything there, but it's wonderful too. Though, you are right - Kazbek has a lot more to see even during the hike, not only on the top, while Ararat is mostly rocky and sandy during the ascent.
next summer this will be the place i want to go, love the simplicity so different from the alps with infrastructure and cable car's all over the place. the mountains are stunning and even from higher altitude than anywhere in the alps. good transition place to learn mountaineering skills on a budget, and next step a 6000 meter peak in the andes or himalaya. great video thanks for sharing😊

oh thank you so much for the comment. Kazbek is really a great mountain to get trained and learn some mountaineering skills - it's both technical and so beautiful. You'll enjoy it! Wishing you a safe trip!

I've just been there this summer, and I can assure you that these mountains are definitely worth it. You can also go in Svanetti to climb mount Tetnuldi or Leila peak, with very few people and absolutely insane views

@@Mrmortymer007 Oh wow, I've heard about Tetnuldi recently, my friends were climbing it. I think it's a bit more technical compared to Kazbek though, no?
Breathtaking!!! ❤❤❤

Congratulations. I climbed from the village up to the church, but then that is almost twice as high as any of the hills here in Scotland.

Great video! How much did this cost?

We've spent approximately $2500, but that's for our group of 5 people. Also, since we are close to Georgia we went there by car, so that made the things a lot easier for us.
How many days does it take?
@LiannaTravelVlog

It takes 3 full days to climb up and get back to the Meteostation. There are groups which choose to stay one more day in the Meteo (as we did) and there are groups which prefer to decent till the village and not spend an extra day in Meteostation.
Thank you so much for this movie. But why do you think it's necessary to put music in this documentary ? Why don't you tolerate the noises of reality ? Are you afraid of silence ? It's an systematical error. I looked your trip without this stupid music, conquering and hollywoodian music... Use your mind, please. Yu like the mountains, so you like silence.

Hello, thank you so much for the comment. I wouldn't call it a documentary, that's maybe the reason I tried to make it as light and at the same time informative as possible, that's why music is there. But thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it!
