Climbing Mount Everest: An Incredible Feat for Body and Mind | FD Adventure
Dropped - Surviving Yukon: • Dropped: Surviving Yuk...
In a bid to show how exercise is key to helping prevent dementia, endurance athlete Richard Parks attempts to summit Mount Everest without supplementary oxygen.
Accompanying him for part of the journey are a team of scientists who, for the first time, are able to gather valuable data on how the body, and the brain react to climbing in the most extreme of altitudes.

Absolutely incredible achievement!
Vitamin b was very interesting when I took it when I was kayaking . When I took it I stopped looking at the trees to see if it was windy . I climb hills every week and I know what it does for mood . I see it in the people I bring climbing . B is as big as oxygen . It gives confidence to the brain decision process imho. Takes more than just sand to make cement. Thanks for sharing the film . Congrats o making it happen
Could you make a video of your gear for this trip ???
Wow
Why isn't summitting Everest enough, why make it far more difficult/dangerous doing it without supplemental oxygen? Does this man have a death wish?
