Climate Justice: Working Together for An Equitable Future

Environmental Justice is the fair and meaningful treatment of all people, regardless of race, income, national origin or color, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations and policies. 6,740,650 million New Yorkers (34%) live in potential environmental justice areas. This video highlights the important connection between environmental justice and climate justice. Visit the City of Yonkers, NY where community-based Groundwork Hudson Valley is helping tackle heat stress and flooding while employing local youths. Partners discuss how we can bring more residents to the table when communities plan for their future.

Excellent video that shows the importance of community involvement in helping make our towns and cities more climate resilient. This approach must be applied everywhere to ensure that environmental justice actually happens.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10)- Your wasting your time worshiping and trying to save the planet.

Amen. God tells us in His Word, the Bible, how we are to live. The modern idea of climate justice so-called is NOT found in His Word anywhere. In fact, this concept of climate justice is what will DESTROY the earth. And God has said that he will destroy those that destroy the earth.

Black people should be allowed to buy property. Banks should make lending decisions based on a person’s income and financial situation. People with a low income are more likely to have health problems. This is not all related to the physical environment. Poor people are more likely to smoke tobacco, drink too much alcohol and use recreational drugs. They also eat more junk and fast food. They usually have less education including health information. There are many reasons why low-income people can have poor health.
