That dude was probably in the UK with a work or study visa and wouldn't have been sent to Rwanda in any circumstance. We don't generally have Latin American migrants in the UK unless they gained access through legit visas. Neither would the Rwanda plan have stopped him coming to the UK. He can still be deported to Colombia after he's convicted, no need to get upset.

I'm almost certain if you check the data, almost all homicides within a country are carried out by natives of the country they occur in. Let's not pretend that immigration is to blame for this.

@@seanwilkinson4016 yes, and the vast majority of femicides and other violence against women and girls is carried out by person(s) known to the perpetrator (I don't know anything about the victims in this case, mind you). That's true wherever you are in the world. People blaming this on migration are hiding their heads in the sand, or looking for an opportunity to be racist. I doubt they even blink out of concern when a British person does something horrific, either within Britain or abroad.
