Splatoon doesn’t use a soundfont. All the music (maybe not including chirpy chips) is recorded live.

@@l35104Create Idk, but there are two different versions of clickbait, the ranked version and the turf war version. This part is only present in ranked and is skipped over in turf war, not sure why nintendo decided to do this

I started bopping my head and air guitaring because this version of Clickbait is so good!

Why we get a loop at 1:25 in turf instead of the full music, the loops sounds awful, plus the jukebox has the turf war version? WHY they never did this in the entire series why cut a part of a music?

its because the full song won’t fit in turf actually, since the ranked matches are 5 min, they use the entire thing

@@shaner_manerzz6644 it does the song loops at about 1:45 on ranked, while on turf it cuts a part of the song and loops at 1:25, there is no point to this cut since the music still loops and now or never start in between the song, so in turf you just end up with a worst music So yee and plus splat 2 had longer songs that didn't had music cut on turf and just stoped when now or never started, and this is the only music that does this on 3 and plus the fact that they use the turf one on the jukebox instead of the full one just makes it worst

@@estoucansado981 Having 13 seconds of a loop play before Now or Never kicks in would sound extremely awkward, having it loop at 1:25 in turf is a pretty reasonable choice

Pay attention at 1:23. It’s an extended version that contains more musical segments compared to the one that you hear in turf wars. This is probably due to the time difference between both, turf lasting less than ranked… or at least this applies for most of ranked matches lol

When you play in turf war, the music doesn't get to end most of the time since once it hits 1 minute remaining of the match, "Now or Never" starts playing. However, if you play in a ranked match (Rainmaker, Tower Control, Splat Zones) the time limit never ends into Now or Never, so the music plays at full length

@@thebug7017 that’s not the difference. The difference is that an extra part of the song plays at 1:24 that will never play in turf war, the song will just loop back to the start

@@Gysmin - I think that they were just trying to explain *_why_* there was a difference. And it actually explains the difference at the end: one plays with full length, the other doesn’t.
