It was time to update my cichlid aquarium to give the fish more territories.
Жүктеу.....

I love the rocks, Mbuna, and lighting. Can I ask what lights you use? I like the shimmer effect. Are they Kessil?

The shimmering has nothing to do with the lighting. It has to do with the surface of the water not being still! That's what causes those changing reflections on the sand and rocks

How do you keep from harming the fish with the now new uncycled tank? I suppose the canister filter probably does a good job of holding onto the beneficial bacteria.

Why would it not be cycled? It was running on a tank full of fish beforehand. He redid the tank, he didn't throw out his sponges and other used media. It (nitrifying bacteria) survives for hours in a filter without moving water.

Look like spam comments lol. For some reason you deconstucting the aquascape first was immensely satisfying

With the rocks that tank is 1 billion lbs if you tried to pick it up. 😂

The water weighs more anyways, so no picking up either way
