As a 2016 guest who got an acc in 2018 I must say that those years were great ones, maybe even the best, with endless videos of watching Dan & the Pals, great games with great people, & the simplicity & goofiness of it all. I feel that the platform has traced away to a more harmful, over-complex environment & yearn for those years of bliss, but enjoy what’s closest to it as much as I can.

To me, 2014 - 2017 was the peak for Roblox. Every channel, game, event, and music video people made on Roblox were great then. It’s sad that we can never go back to it ever again. That’s why we have to just make the best of our time.

@@10khamon7 I’m not a time traveler but how I repeated a year was to do the same things over again from a year I enjoyed. I have to admit, it was a stupid idea since it is not the same anymore. I repeated 2015 in 2019. And then repeated 2016 in 2020 but was ruined because of a virus that was spreading around the world.

This hits home so much.. ROBLOX today feels so different. It may be because I’ve grown and I’m no longer a single digit age, but today’s ROBLOX feels so emo. Everyone spends so much on their appearance, and I feel like most games have been replaced with either anime-inspired or horror games. I want to cry. This video brought back some of my most cherished memories, and I would do anything to return to this period of my life. The 2010s will always be the most special time of my life.

ikr bro, no judgement, i see emo avs every single day as i still often play roblox. this also makes me cry, i really miss enjoying roblox as a little kid, and now i'm a young teen. i honestly feel like roblox wants to make everything approved just for avatars, it gets people interested into their game.

This hits me so much, back in those days, roblox was really fun, I made my first friends on 2017, we were inseparable, playing any game on teams with them just made me happy, it truly makes me sad realising that all of those moments are gone, nowadays, I just don’t enjoy Roblox. I’m alone, most of my friends stopped playing, sold their accounts, got works or can’t play because of school. I remember I had a group of friends, every time I joined them, we had so much fun. In those times u didn’t play Roblox to be the best at a game or get the best things, u played because it was fun. This brings me so much nostalgia, and it makes me sad.

2016-2019 are the years where gaming made an impact on me. I will never forget the days of booting up a console ecstatic to play a new game, or joining the normal elevator and trying to find all the secrets, it was truly a golden age for me.

I played most of them back then, now I rarely play roblox, but I have a lot of happy memories of Roblox with playing my favourite games with my friends after school... I agree so much. I don’t play much either now, but when I do log on, all of these games have been replaced by either anime or horror games. The old games just don’t hit home anymore because they’ve updated to a point where they’re almost unrecognizable. I really miss this era..

The peak of Roblox for me was from 2015 until 2018. Back in 2016 the Roblox KZreadrs were amazing, tycoons, obbies, no slenders, and barely any bullying. I wish we could somehow go back to that era but the most important part is that we all got to experience it.

I used to be so happy watching these and playing old roblox games, i wish i could get that happiness back. I used to just play with my friends which i dont even have anymore and i know ill never get that feeling back

I remember when I first played roblox, the nostalgia is the most painful feeling for me because I remember all those good times I had while playing roblox, ever since 2020 Roblox hasn't been the same and the happines we used to feel are not the same.. I started playing in 2015-2018 and still play today. I continued playing it, so still playing it meant I was able to experience ROBLOX growing up and changing into a new game. I really liked old ROBLOX, it was simple and fun. Now, it's filled with people who are just rude and ungrateful. I still really like the game, but I grew up with it so its sad to see how much was removed and changed throughout the years.

I want to thank Roblox for the time I had, it was unforgettable. I crying because we cant bring that good time back, it was very unique. Thank you NoClipper for this nostalgic video, you let me remember the old Roblox time when I was happier..

I started playing ROBLOX on 2017, I found it through Dan's channel. When I first found it I was astonished by the graphics and the fact it had other players to play with, I was around 5-6 years old during that time. Back then, every game I played on ROBLOX felt amazing, fresh and even had normal players back then to talk to. Every event game they made was amazing, well thought-out, and bug free. Everybody was hyped up for every single event they made. The best one being the Egg Hunts. Nowadays, it's the polar opposite of what ROBLOX was back then, I feel like every time I go on ROBLOX nothing peaks my interest. Most of the games ROBLOX offers on the discovery page are extremely low quality, no creativity and can't even top the games back then. Not just that but the community became toxic and sexual, filled with predators, and filled with disgusting games made by developers. ROBLOX does almost nothing to these games as it makes them money. Lastly, the events aren't even half as good, they have so low quality structures and it is filled with bugs, to the point that they're already making it obvious they don't care about these event games anymore. Although ROBLOX has gotten worse over the years, I still thank it for giving me entertainment, happy experiences, and helping me with my confidence. No ROBLOX year can compare to 2017, it was just that good.

Me who joined in 2016 is always hit by this nostalgia, always playing that weight lifting game, work at a pizza place, mad city, that running(race) game with the og music...

Even If I wasn’t on the platform I joined around mid 2019, some nostalgia is coming back as I watched some of those videos when I was younger and the logos, graphics, and ui changed around when around late 2019 which in my head was the end of the golden age of Roblox as everything started leaving… I still play it but it’s not as fun.

I joined in 2012, which I have to say hit it off. I remember being in 2nd Grade, hearing that bell in the last day of school ready for summer I ran home with my brother and sister. We always played ROBLOX together. I can still remember it now. Build to Survive Zombies, Hide and Seek, Boys vs Girls Island Wars, everything you could think of at the time. I am so grateful the memories I made on here. Now, with time passing, it just doesn't feel the same anymore.

the lost eggs was arguably THE best ROBLOX game at the time. I understand it was an egg hunt, but it was so much more different. Creative landscapes and so many activities. It was so much more different because the quality of the graphics, the game, and how it worked was amazing. It was an unforgettable experience. Playing on my mom's iPad. Good times.

Say goodbye to most of the friends i spent time together, play booga booga, tell my roleplay son that i wont forget him after i disappear for 3 years as I will reunite after endless attempts, play booga booga and lumber tycoon, build a base from zombies, every thing was great. I remember being a guest and when i played the robloxian highschool i couldnt get the intro menu out of my view, so i played with it on my screen thinking it was normal.

I grew up in Roblox like it was reality. Hopefully I'm a normal person now and not attached to the computer like I was as a kid. Still, it was another reality, like how flying with a rainbow carpet across Cash Tycoon and listening to NCS was all another world.

The hardest thing is that you log into your account after years and see your friends who are precious to you and give you happy memories. Home screen, games, everything has changed. But the only thing that remains the same are your friends with the old avatars, the precious people who were last online years ago and now only exist in memories. They are still there, but they are not...

Tbh I miss being greeted with games I actually wanted to play on roblox. Back then it felt like everyone was competing to make the best game, or just to see what people like. Now every developer knows what sticks and most just make trash games that still get attention from younger audiences...

I've started play roblox 2015 as a guest then I got an account 2017. I still remember all of the events on 2015 - 2017 is so fun. I watched much of Dan & The Pals videos.

I started Roblox in 2016 and I would come home from school every single night, play while listening to Dennis or Corl. I was on the verge of tears watching this. I wish I could go back. As of now, we have KZreadrs like "Uwucutesingle", "Clownxiao", and a lot of other horrible ones. I really miss old Roblox.

Roblox High School, Prison Life, tons of other games that have been lost to time, getting online as soon as I got home from school, these are all memories we made not knowing we were making them. Roblox had their morals, the playerbase had theirs as well. There was always a great wholesome feeling when playing those older less graphically intensive games on roblox. The modern games feel faker, feel more grind intensive. We were happier back then, and we associate objects like these with good times. We are growing and a different kind of Roblox is here. We must accept the fact that we are growing older, and it is time to look forward instead of look back at the times when we didnt have a care in the world.

2015-2017 will always have a special place in my heart, such simpler times.

I started playing roblox in 2016. I was 6 years old. This was my early childhood. Might be a bit younger than some of yall but this was golden. Denis was my childhood. All of his videos you played there i distinctly remember even if i was very young watching them. I cannot describe the feeling. I remember so many memories from playing adopt me and meep city. Nowadays i stopped playing roblox. It's gotten more and more ridiculous. I remember when Adopt me was more of roleplay than buying and trading pets. I remember all of those music videos like "We've been playing in roblox". Oh god thats so nostalgic. I remember the background music of pizza tycoon. I remember all those very interactive tycoons like theme park tycoon... I remember getting stuck and not knowing how to get more customers in theme park tycoon. I remember ninja simulator. And also that one yin yang ninja thing where you could roleplay until your eyes rot away. I remember old jailbreak. I basically played any game that denis did lol. All those obbies that looked really well polished. Murder mystery... I stopped playing when denis started doing minecraft content. Minecraft was more interactive and fun but old Roblox.. old Roblox is more nostalgic.

This is where the golden ages of Roblox was, this is where every player was alike and shared many things in common, this is where roblox players were at peace, this is where the memories started, this is where, I loved Roblox.

I actually cried after watching this because I got so much nostalgia.I joined during 2017-2018 and those were on of the best times ever.I remember watching channels like denis and sketch and playing games like polyguns and redwood prison(one of my favourite games to this day btw).I remember playing with my brother and we would have lots of fun.But life went by quick.And roblox has changed a lot since then.It makes me sad to see that those days are gone,but at least I had a lot fun during those times.

yk, the thought of just never being able to return to these games, or rather the time period just freaking hurts man. The state of current roblox genuinely pisses me off compared to what it was, knowing ill never be able to get these memories back just sets me off

it hurts not physically, not mentally, not emotionally, but because it shows what it was, what it could be, and especially what it turned into.

I miss the Old roblox. Truly an unforgettable experience. Sometimes I join old roblox games just to get some nostalgia when I was a kid. We will miss you old roblox.

I actually started tearing up and after this video, i cried. I feel so old now.

This just hit me straight to the core.

The Sense of nostalgia from our childhood or earlier times in our lives can often be a sad feeling. The sense of sadness occurs when we are reminded of a better time, or when things were so much more simple. When we look back on childhood, it’s usually very vague and unspecific, but that is part of the reason why many of us feel so sad. Our memories are often vague because it was a simple time, where we didn’t have to stress or worry, we were all happy. And it’s sad to see that feeling go...

This is actual nostalgia. All the other avatars and whatever are still up today, but these ones, the ones we forget for months and years, these are the ones that hit the hardest.

I remember watching their videos. I was so happy to watch them when I got home from school. Now, I’ll never get to experience this again.

I still remember when I was signing up for roblox in the first time, and I didn't even realized that roblox was changing at the time. I realized that nothing stays forever.

*Let's take some time to thank all the developers making decently fun games to this day for us to enjoy, roblox would be shit without them.*

This is actually very well made. i thought it was gonna be just a bunch of random clips from 2016 but no. its a masterpiece. i started playing in 2015. i lost my old account. so made another one. after some time i took a break between 2018-2019. then randomly came back. it used to be a fun game

when the builder badge icon showed on the screen my heart went BOOM

I started Roblox in 2016 or 2015 and I still play it today and I did not even realize this was gonna be the end of a really good era that lasted 11 years rest in peace to old Roblox 2006-2017🙏

back when adopt me wasnt popular and back when trash simulators didnt exist.

I started playing roblox on 2015 as a guest, on latelys 2016 i created my account and this game since the beggining bringed me so much joy to play Turn on my pc and saw any cool obby or tycoon or whatever silly game i saw, but nowadays this feeling has just disappeared, and the game feels empty, the games feel all the same and there's just no any reason to play anymore, besides that, the community has been decaying with the years, more weirdos or people with serious problems manage to achieve their goals on this community and manage to remain silence and go without any drama, and at the end most of the people that at some point enjoyed this game we leave it for good or just because it just not same theres plenty of reason but i really miss the era when at some point i didn't care about nothing, just playing...

As a player from 2015 (i cant really remember 2015 that much) seeing these memories is nice.

Back when the community was nice. Very creative and original games. I love all the games now, but they don't have that old 2017 ROBLOX feeling. The community rarely had arguments and it was way nicer back then. I think it was like this, because not much people played ROBLOX back then and that meant that a lot of people on Roblox had similar interests at the time. Back then in Elementary school, it was rare to find someone who plays ROBLOX and only my friends did and it was rare to find someone who did play Roblox. However, in Middle School, I can't find a single person that doesn't play ROBLOX. They all have similar personalities. Toxic. A lot of the people I see on ROBLOX have very similar personalities that I see at school (emo, troll, the one guy who only knows how to make baller, racist and gay jokes, etc). Roblox is big now, and that means that there's way more of a diversity. 2020 was a little fun for ROBLOX, but most of the people who say they want to go back to 2020 haven't been playing before 2017. It's strange on how the people who used to make fun of you for playing ROBLOX in 2017 now play ROBLOX and make up most of the platform. I always wish I could go back, but then I would probably start missing 2022, as there's so much more, yet has lost some of it's soul. Just continue life and remember those fun memories.

I joined in 2015 so for me I feel like peak Roblox was 2015-2018 maybe 2019 since that was the year the old Roblox UI was removed and the logo was changed the soulless UI and logo we have today. Not to mention games used to be unique and thoughtful, unlike all the junk we have today. I go to the games page or “discover” page as it’s called today and I don’t even recognize it.

I remember a friend showing me this game when he went to my house, we grabbed our ipads and tried roblox. I played as a guest and I still remember playing hide n seek extreme and some other obby games. Also pokemon brick bronze, I loved that game. I was just having fun..

The greatest thing that hit me was the old robux logo and hide n seek extreme, bloxburg and redwood prison. I remember getting my first robux and i bought bloxburg. Damn

I littearly cried while watching this, i joined in 2017 and the first game i ever played was hide and seek extreme, it used to be much more fun back then... R.I.P old roblox, we will miss you.

Watching this made me have goosebumps haha, wish we could go back to that time, and in the words of Albert - "You don't miss old Roblox, You miss being happy" and i couldn't agree more.

first time playing was my first game ever. I will always miss this game and how it used to be in the olden days. During my time now its just bland and everything is moving on so fast, even though I missed playing back in 2017, I still had fun and still made a bunch of memorable stuff. This game will always be remembered.

oh my god. 2016 is when I started playing roblox. i still play roblox and have gotten used to the new everything. seeing it again feels so weird, it’s like you’re digging through your stuff before moving and then you find that box of stuff you played with when you were very young

Me too, ROBLOX at 2016 was totally another dimension, the community was way smarter, respectful, helpful. I still remember playing SCP game, and it was funny to see some new players saying stuff like /scp or /admin me, but no one spitted with venom like: " who cares?, go die, idiot" And even those simple games had it own vibe, like even some default place from myth had it own vibe to explore it, playing mm2, jailbreak.. all this was colorful. Now playing ROBLOX feels like walking on a graveyard with a dirt that is poured with venom, endless boredoom.

it's feels really good to look back on the memories and some cant move forward, but it's the power to take the step and move forward and make new memories with new people new friends and maybe make even better memories.🙂

I started playing in 2019 but started watching roblox based content in 2018, thanks for all the memories: Denisdaily and the pals.

I don’t even care about how much roblox changed over the years since 2017 to this day, it’s just that I miss the days where I didn’t have to worry about anything, roblox was a huge part of my life back then, playing with my friends and my cousin. It’s really sad to see how much we’ve changed, not only roblox. Plus the song in the background just adds to the sad nostalgia.

@Extra 2017 was still good though your points are correct about cash grab games but I remember playing jailbreak back in 2017 Roblox was still good it was at its highest peak.

​@FourTwenty I think 2017 had some positives, but I do agree with most of what you are saying. Whilst it certainly caused many issues that are prevalent on the site today, 2017 also had some benefits. I think a lot of people forget the technological leap of roblox games in 2017, games of higher-quality were looking a lot better & were offering much better game mechanics, and roblox studio was only improving with more resources being provided by both the community and the developers of the engine themselves. The developer community flourished, and although lower-quality games certainly oversaturate the site, there are still games of quality. The problem doesn't lie in "developers not caring". When you give people an accessible tool with free resources, the people are bound to use it for better or worse. Regarding exploiters, I think that has always been a problem with roblox. Exploiters however, certainly did become more common, and i think that simply has to do with the fact that many roblox exploiter youtubers began popping up around 2017, and these channels gained notoriety + the many discord servers that would sell hack scripts or sm shit. Also, dont worry about Oders, they've been the bane of roblox's existence since early 2013 💀. The best thing to do is ignore them, to my knowledge at least, the Oder problem has been reduced significantly

I miss everything that is in this video. 2022 Roblox was the reason why I quit roblox after playing it for 7 years (I made my account in January of 2015), I never got into the recent games and the whole community is just so annoying. DanTDM’s roblox content was by far my favorite. Thanks for making this video and letting me remember the “glory days”.

the reason there are so many slenders and emos is because all the little kids who played back in 2016 who were nice are now in their teenage years and discovering themselves. They are just learning about new ideas and trying to find out who they are. It is literally a phase and happens everywhere where people can express themselves.

this is the best memory of my childhood that i will never forget.

All the memories are flooding back…

eight years of my life has been spent on this game. it's sad to see how the platform has become a corporation mess; but, i will always appreciate the good memories i made back then and in the ones i am still making today.

I remember when I started roblox I would play games like Speed Run 4 (i think its called that,) Natural Disaster Survival, or Meepcity. All as a guest with my older sister, sometimes my younger brother too but mainly my older sister. We would take turns playing on my moms laptop. We never made an account (well I didnt) until mid-late 2017. Honestly it brings back such good memories and I love it. Wish I could go back.

@@omori6805 No, it would be nostalgia because 1. Hiraeth means a deep longing for your home or a place. 2. Nostalgia means a deep longing for the past. 3. I’m not welsh lol (the word is welsh.) But that is a very similar meaning and I understand why you would think that.

i remember when i was 5-6 i used to play roblox for fun i didnt know wht egg hunts were i didnt know what those popular games were and i used to watch those amazing youtubers who put lots of love into theyre videos and you can tell they were having so much fun i wanna go back to 2016 where i used to play those fun simple games but i forgot what they were called because they ban roblox in 2018....

Joined around 2015. Even though I don't play it anymore, I'll never forget what amazing games they had: Prison Life, Hide & Seek Extreme etc.

Thank you for this experience. Reminds me when times were simpler, I remember starting in 2016. I had builders club, one of those classic package avatars (I think it was korblox mage). I had seen the advancement to r15, and I wish roblox kept it this way. This account sadly did get hacked, and it had Easter items, builders club, and everything. But the true disappointment is roblox today. Roblox used to be so much better. Today, this platform is falling apart. I wish I could relive 2016.. Not tryna get emotional or way too in depth, Life must go on though, it’s sad to know that roblox will end up the way it is in 2022, if this is how it will be, then it will. Life is short, take in the experience while you can, nothing good lasts forever.
