Gotta agree with everybody about the AI voice. Some people have suggested that you may have used it because your English isn't good, if that's the case I think most people would prefer hearing you speak your first language and just have subtitles.

Every single comment is about the voice narration and while I can't see a reason to add to that particular pile of negativity, I will say that the device DID turn out incredibly cute and I'm confident whoever is presented with this machine's contents would cherish them greatly. It's very well made and crafted, and you should be proud of it. Ill also add that '8 seconds of waiting' is perfectly acceptable to me, although my wife would likely disagree. 😂

Oddly I remember in previous videos what certainly sounded like the actual creator voicing the video. Perhaps they were insecure about their English? but I can assure them that what sounds like an AI read translation, from a script in their first language, is definitely not an improvement. (Or indeed, all that comprehensible some of the time...) The previous narration was totally fine.

Great projects as usual, very sweet. You should also probably add some weights to the box so it wouldn't jolt at the reveal, just some lead beads or bits metal in the empty spaces inside the box, some rubber feet could also work by preventing it from sliding. A little flywheel mechanism could also provide a smoother movement without very sudden acceleration, although I don't think you have enough space inside. And about the voice over, if you really need narration, you can totally record yourself in your native language, and provide subtitles. it would be much more authentic, and I'm pretty sure no one would mind. I'm also pretty sure that it's not even necessary, since a lot of people really appreciate the silent videos, a lot of native english speakers with youtube channels, still decide to go without narration, because there's a growing number of people who enjoy that kind of video, it's refreshing. My advice if you need some kind of explanation as to what you're doing, is to add like 2 or 3 short little segments throughout the video, like 10 seconds each, where you briefly speak and explain your thoughts, and couple those segments with subtitles, that would be gold :) And again, great video !!!

The phrase "wave a dead chicken" refers to trying to solve a problem using a method that's known to fail, but still showing that you've tried something. It can also refer to someone performing irrelevant tasks to fulfill someone else's expectations, such as installing a system in ways that don't work. -fittingly enough, this answer was provided via A.I. generation.

@Martin_Edmondson according to the briefest of searches, it allegedly originates from cultures that practice voodoo. In that context, it was used to ward off evil spirits or disease. I'm also seeing comments from those that are self-proclaimed voodoo witches who claim that it's a complete myth and that animal sacrifices aren't necessary for any practice of voodoo magic, so that clarifies nothing directly. I can't speak for its usage personally as I've never heard it from memory, but if used in context, I could probably have assumed it's meaning and usage. As for how it ended up in this video, my best guess is that he incorrectly typed a word into the script and let the AI translate it directly and he did not proof it, or doesn't know enough English to understand how jarring such a phrase would be. There are other words that are inconsistent throughout the video but the spellings must've been close enough that I knew what word he was trying for so I just rolled with it. I saw a commenter say he speaks Russian so I'd assume that is his native tongue. Overall, I agree with many other users that AI generated voice overs are likely the worst possible audio option for this type of content and I would've preferred to hear his voice in native tongue with no subtitles over what was dubbed in after the fact. There are also audio issues that could've been found before posting, and I don't wish to hurt his feelings by complaining but this video is likely gonna flop for the audio alone.
