I don’t understand people with the endless pictures, and most of them are nervous around animals, could easily spook the horses. But imagine hundreds of people constantly touching you! Bad enough those poor horses have to stand on that concrete, I hope their shifts are very short.

Yes the”Horse Might Bite’ sign covers the MOD against any such incident, but a similar notice should be displayed to protect the horse from the constant touching, especially on the face - how irritating this must be! It must be bad enough having to stand - I don’t know how long the poor animals have to remain in the position and with the heavy lump on it’s back, but it seems wrong to me. So people, instead of complaining about Karen’ visits, instead protest against the crowding and touching of the horse. What a life!

@@patriciabailey1937 Each horse has one hour of sentry duty. Then they return to the stable where they have a few beers and a pizza and complain to each other about the idiots that they had touching them that day.

No one should be permitted to get that close to the guard or horses. I saw an idiot guy slip the horse something the other day. Maybe a sugar coated hot mint. Within a minute the horse was freaking and it took an extra handler to calm him....these days people are idiots, immature and rude. They could slip the horse anything. Its the times we sadly now live in. They need barriers around the guards possibly. People don't care or listen.

Maybe leaving the horse to roam the fields or relax in the stables is better protection for the horses, instead off having someone sit on them for hours and hours , then there would be no need for your barriers 2 , but I'm afraid the Palace want tourists and that is one big attraction the guards and horses, and hopefully when l go on holiday the locals don't call us lunatics, when we want pics ,there tourists not lunatics!

But you’re right about the constant criticism of “tourists”. The vast majority of sightseers are responsible people who cause no trouble for anyone. Tourism brings the UK economy over £100 billion a year and a couple million jobs. Residents should be more polite.

Not to mention if a horse that size with shoes on stands on your foot and you're wearing flimsy trainers, its going to break your foot. My previous horse liked to stand on my foot, he weighed 550kg so a good 100-150kg lighter than these ones, the last time he stood on it (and they put all their weight in that one foot) it instantly became swollen like a balloon, the mark is still there 5 years later,and that was with correct equine footwear.

Ah, the point is the horse can smell the hand but not easily bite the hand. That's why you approach a horse with an open palm, from the side cuz they can't see what's right in front of their nose.

She makes everybody else look completely normal. The guards obviously detest her and don't want her touching their horses but she's a little thick-skinned and can't take a hint to BUZZ OFF.

What they should do is get some ordinary looking, nondescript looking guy to follow her discreetly, surreptitiously when she leaves and then when she's in a low key place far from the tourists relay her location to the bobbies and they can swoop in and pinch her with no witnesses and without making a big scene. That way they avoid the potential pr black eye by being harsh with her in front of the crowds, she gets the psych evaluation she needs and can be dealt with by the system, and the guards are rid of her annoying presence. A win-win all around...

@@kennethpaulsen5407 What she is doing is not a disturbance, if the police took it to court any judge would laugh at them, she is a right pain I know but she knows exactly what she is doing and the limits she can push people to, she has already put in a complaint against the police because they told her off.

Why don't they just tell her She is not allowed in area any more

The police are frightened she will make a complaint. That's how ineffectual our police have become.....to scared to deal with a malicious trouble maker like her.

What is her problem the guards are all army personnel. The horses are great and beautiful. Give respect they all deserve this 😊😊

The guards and horses r very vulnerable out in the open to any sort of an attack or threats...perhaps it's time to alter the scenery

Maybe the authorities should check if she is here legally. If she is residing in Belgravia for example, they should check if her wealth is obtained from legal means.

She says her husband is a po.ice officer in Africa. They need to just ban her and trespass her for good. She's rude, annoying and dangerous. She's a general nuisance and needs to be removed.

I am fed up with Sandra who's husband apparently is a police Officer from abroad. She is such a pain to all on this guard. She acts like a tourist guide. It's all for her u-tube channel.
