Fly around historic League Park, original home of the Cleveland Indians. The ballpark has been recreated as it looked in late 1930s.

Very small and intimate park, and very basic--it was all about baseball and nothing else. Must have been a great place to watch a game. Especially nice that there were no lights, so every game was a day game. And some really great baseball: Ruth, Gerhig, Fox, Cobb, Speaker, Young, Grove, Cochran, Walter Johnson, Collins, Lajoie, Feller, Coveleski, DiMaggio, and Williams all played there. Lots and lots of history made by the greatest players of the first half of the 20th century. Thanks for this window into a different and fascinating era.

As a lifelong Clevelander I feel honored that you chose the underrated League Park for this project. This is incredible. Thank you!!! I've been following @sportsbandbox on Twitter and watching this project come to life. There's some quality discussion at various points in his progress if anyone wants to go on Twitter and check it out. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

It would be equally fascinating to see a recreation of the three-deck version of League Park before the fire. But this is fantastic!!

This makes me miss League Park and I wasn't old enough to go there, nor am I an Indians fan. This is fantastic!

Incredible! It would be greedy to ask for Cleveland Muni already, but I'd love to see it!

This is a truly amazing recreation you've done here. I visited what was left of league park back in 2008 and it was so surreal. However, It's pretty unfortunate and ridiculous that you now need a permit to enter and walk around the renovated park

I was just there in July and was able to go into the field. You just have to go when the museum is open.

Why do a computer generated video? Why not go there and film it? It’s still there and has been rebuilt.

The actual stadium structure of League Park in Cleveland was never rebuilt after it was torn down in 1951. However, a small portion of the wall and office building remain, and they still play baseball on the diamond.
