So if it wasn't for news 19, the post office would still "be looking into it" unbelievable.. It sounds like more people need to be fired
@LuisCasstle
The fact that it took the news report for them to actually do something means they should fire all the supervisors responsible for not acting in a timely manner.
@misterb6416
It shouldn't take an act of congress to fire someone for not doing their job.
@scottsent8120
This is absurd. How can someone not receive
@Runelph
she should be charged with a felony and get sent to prison for YEARS. this is disgusting. if you're that lazy, don't take the job.
@JonasC22
wow it takes a congressional inquiry to fire a mail carrier that hasn't been doing their job for 3 years??
@TA-ti9jb
My friend works for USPS. They said they’ve caught mail carriers dumping mail in the trash. The carriers say they did it because they had too much to do and they don’t fire them. Smh. Props to those mail carriers that actually do their jobs and do it well, in all weather conditions.
@henrykirk4457
That first woman has no idea what PTSD is.
@suds5214
As a retired mailman, I know 1st hand that the PO's manager's attitude toward "undelivered mail" is lax at best.
@afrofaerie
Tampering what other people's mail is a federal offense!!!
@Colorado_Avocado
I don’t think she knows what PTSD is.
@tdotp1618
PTSD because mail wasn't delivered?!! I guess she's a traumatic no mail victim. Bless the people who actually have PTSD.
@sqrd3536
It took three years to fire the incompetent woman? That's really bad.
@sunnylitemj1281
She should be charge with crime not just fired!
@alfandeddie
PTSD from not getting your mail?
@MrErpolitics
Why did the postal worker refuse to deliver the mail? And if this was such an egregious and longstanding problem (implied in the news report), why did the local office fail to take action for so long?
@jasestrickland1704
Imagine no bills, letters, checks, monetary gifts, parcels, packages, nothing of any kind? If that happened in my neighborhood for a week, the villagers would be out with their pitchforks!
@amyrenee1361
Sorry, but the problems shouldn't have gone on so long before action was taken. There needs to be more accountability in our country.
@KalHimself
I just started with USPS 4 months ago. They literally made us take an oath at orientation. As crappy as the service may be at my station, they do not play when it comes to mail and parcels being lost or thrown away. This one deserves jail time.
@tomatencio9223
Not getting her mail gave her PTSD? WTH??? That disrespects every combat veteran, firefighter, cop, and others who were traumatized by extreme violence.
