Because the defender has as much right to the ball in the air as the offensive player and Mitchell made a play on the ball didn't even touch Hall.

Clemson is a great team there a lock for the Sweet 16 imo. But we should be 10 or 9 not 7.

I sure don't know WTF Brownell was whining about!! There were actually TWO fouls on that drive, the refs let one go and couldn't let the foul on the arm go. Good call. Good ending to the game. Brownell should be REALLY ashamed of himself. Maybe in that timeout he called, he should have said "Do NOT foul the driver". They fouled the driver. Easy call. Everyone in the United States of America and several foreign countries KNEW that Proctor was going to get the ball and drive to the basket, hoping to get the roll, dish off, or go to the line. Somehow the Great Coach of Clemson couldn't warn his team what was going to happen. Every Jr. High coach in the free world would call a triple threat-type play, and that's what Scheyer called. Just basic basketball.

You either A) don’t know a thing about basketball B) are a massive Duke groupie or C) both. There was NOT enough contact to justify that call at the end. Proctor came barreling down the court, pushed off with his other arm, and flopped on his was up with the shot. And Beadle’s hands were straight up in the air. That was a textbook bail out call. Not to mention it was WAY after the shot was made. No team other than Duke would ever get that call in that kind of situation.
