Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway ‘Summer Steam & Beer Extravaganza’ Saturday 13th July 2019
A first time visit to the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway on Saturday 13th July 2019.
The railway was holding its ‘Summer Steam & Beer Extravaganza’ featuring three locomotives including two visiting Exmoor-built 0-4-2T+T "St Egwin"(from the Evesham Vale Light Railway) & 0-6-0T "Sandy"(from the Wotton Light Railway) joining with the railways home fleet Great Central Railway O4 Class(15 inch) No.6284 in action.
Unfortunately the railway other resident Sandy River and Rangeley Lake 2-6-2 No.24 was unable to operated due to a failure.

What a cute little railway!
Enjoyed this very much, thanks Joe. The double header looked really good and the O4 appears to be in excellent condition. Unusual to see a viaduct like that on a narrow gauge railway... excellent shot. Kind regards, Bob.
Nice video. Somewhere you dont usually see. A nice selection of locos they O4 looked great.

Thanks mate 😉 It is my first time visit to Cleethorpes and it was also great to see three steam locomotives in action including the GCR O4. Are you going to the Foxfield Railway this weekend coming?

@@joelightrailway2362 unfortunately not this year I had thought about going to a few places but going to see how the weekend pans out. Foxfield should be good I heard they have a loco from lakeside and hatherthwaite railway.

OK. Which railway are you thinking of going?
Will be there on Saturday. I do hope the O4 is running as I'd really like to take a look at it. Nice video of the line, thanks for sharing.

Thanks James 😉 It will be in steam thoughts out this Summer as their other steam loco No.24 is unavailable at the current time due to the problem of it frames.

Just looked at my pictures and you appear in one of mine at Kingswear Station with your tripod.
Very good video and I appear in it a few times, taking pictures on the left at Kingsway station. Stood next to you at Discovery Station for the double header. Hope you got back to Brighton OK what time did you get home in the end? David from York.
