@@CrawfordsFarm1 aye but you’re bits with the young farmers is true, it’s all the propaganda and bull that stops me watching. When they show what young people are doing to keep their farms going is good, but it shouldn’t be an uphill struggle for life. What’s the chances of a young guy or girl owning a farm if all they have is the passion to do it?. Ask your BBC chums to follow that up. I wasn’t getting at you for being on country file, they seem to cherrypick stories. They don’t show months of work, the return on crops and the inevitable cost of buying equipment. Personally I think you and your family are doing a great job at gloagburn farm, but there are a lot of farms struggling and end up selling the land for housing even if it means waiting years for green belts getting done away with.

Aye get where your coming from 👍🏼 im lucky that ive not had to start at square one, very hard to get going from 0
We need to see those hinges that swing 360 degrees in the bull pens ❤
Regarding the bunker, I built some round bale feeders for sheep when I was younger, and they were welded up in such a way that the two ends would slide along the sides back to the middle as the animals pushed. They work great. If you were to fab up 4 rails that would run from the front of the bunker to 16” (400mm) from the back wall, and put two prongs off the end of the feeder panel top and bottom both sides that fit around that with pins in them you could do the same thing.
Another fantastic video, really nice to see the cows chilled in the new shed, with the bunkers could you put some solid peace of flat wood at a angle do the hay always falls forward
You should ask Tom pemberton he has several cow brushes
Talk to Tom Pemberton on the cow brushes he's got few
Great video Crawford. Enjoyed watching 👍🏼
love the vids keep up the good work man
Great video Crawford as always 👌
Hey Crawford What was that music you were playing at the end of this video? You work really hard Good luck to you Cheers
The brashes work well ps can u give are new farming channel please thank Crawford
Have you set up your cctv in the New Cooo Palace yet ??? Yard 1.5 worked well for you. What a difference in light between old and new. 😊
Lovely shed but get yourself a straw blower save so much time bedding up
nice
How much heat do the cows give off, you are walking around in a short sleve t-shirt. In January, must be the Bandit in you.
was worried Crawford when you dropped off fent for service you might go looking at some other machines
For the feeder, what about a 30 or 35 degree wedge on the floor so the straw/hay eases its way to the side?
You look to be getting the new shed sorted out good, canny do athing in a day, but you will get there for sure. Can you not put an angled floor so the feed falls to the front
Feed bunkers thought of putting false floor in on a slope ?
Why are you not putting the bales down the central passage?
Look up Cow-Pow barriers by O'Donovan engineering for the bunkers

They look spot on
The brushes with just a single one against the wall weren't over popular but have 2 with the bit on a spring over there back and cows use them all the time, fat bullocks fight over who gets to use them, I don't think they break other things so much when they have them,
Straw blower next on your shopping list???
How's the welder holding up? I'm tempted by their new MIG181

Aye good so far, not done loads of welding but its capable of all I’ve asked of it. It is 315 amp so big step up from my old 180 amp

@@CrawfordsFarm1 I bought the MIG251. Absolutely unnecessary for me but it looks decent. Another question but where do you find your steel stock? I've struggled to find anything local to Dundee or Perth.
Just use an ordinary heavy duty yard brush
She slipt in the last vid. Maybe she hurt her leg.
