Clearing creek bank with 2022 75g Excavator and Mulching Head

Loyd is using the 75g Excavator with mulching head to clear creek bank. This machine and attachment is used to clear areas that we cannot reach with our skid steer. We just cleared a small section of the creek today but subscribe to see the remainder cleared and drone footage of before and after!

Do you have to hold down the thumb button to run your head?

Unfortunately I do! They don’t offer an aux switch lock for the mulching head, but what I did is I use a thick rubber band on the joy stick to hold the aux button down to keep it engaged while I mulch!

do you feel a lot more stability with the fixed boom vs a swing boom machine?

Fixed booms are better. Swing booms is a very nice feature for any machine. But especially minis. If you want a great trench machine for alot of work near objects by an 85. Me personally i would take the 75 but my work line is alot different.

How do you like 75g I was thinking about getting 60g

Man I like the 75G a lot. I was going to get an 85G but looking at the specs on it, it wasn’t much different besides weight. We had a 50G before this one, and the 75G is a big difference. If it’s in your budget I’d recommend looking at a 75G instead of the 60G.

60 is like 13500 a 75 is like 17000??? An 85 is the same machine as a 75 but with swing feature

@@Yettiattack basically! We opted for the 75 instead of 85, due to price difference 75-85 are almost the same machine. And it saved extra from having to upgrade a trailer. The next one we have get will be a full size!
