FYI bring the rpm up to only 1000-1200 or so then engage the pto, once rpm stabilize then start bringing the rpm up to get to 540. Way less abusive to tractor and implements !

If you keep taking your tractor that high before you turn the PTO on it won't last long you'll break something ‼️🚜

I think you are confusing the “forest” mulchers and a flail mowers!? Your attachment is certainly not intended for the use you are forcing to do it! I am surprised it lasted even a day long! Not a warranty claim by any means.. And even if you mowe only a grass(as it should), it still not intended for uneven terrain, much less sticking rocks! It’s just an agricultural attachment! Simple as that!

With the hammer blades it says brush up to 2” in diameter. The Y Blade version is less robust. Hammers are designed for this brush clearing. Watch any review of similar hammer flail mowers. My land is flat. It has the odd rock that is mostly buried but may stick out a small bit (like an inch or so) from the soil. Usually rounded rock left from the ice age and the moving glaciers. This land is reclaimed farm land. It’s not jagged rocky land. Look at the drone shots. It’s flat except for some scrub brush. I avoid any smaller trees and flail just the scraggly brush. It should be able to handle this. I suggest you look at other hammer flail mowers reviews to see what they can do before sending comments.
