Great video! I thought I might be the only person who owned & used an iron! I iron my pillowcases every week on sheet day after laundering the bedding. Housework never ends, but keeping a home tidy makes life less chaotic. Who wouldn’t choose calm over chaos? Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I never tire of seeing Ace and Cali! I know they don't help with much except for getting nose smudges on the windows and doors but they try. I do need to do some ironing, it is my least favorite task. Thanks for the motivation.

I don’t even own an iron🤣My way is the dryer and then immediately remove and lay on my bed and smooth out with my hand and then onto hangers 🤪Yes I own a paintbrush thanks to u for many uses and now a great idea 💡 again from u for the removal of the lint 😊Thanks for all the inspiration ❤

My ironing shirt days are over! I used to do at least 15 a week when the children were at school but now I only iron tea towels and pillow cases, about 4 times a year! It always nice when that chore is over! ❤

I love your red geraniums! They look so healthy. I love filling up my garden with geraniums, you can get such a beautiful variety. I noticed some exercise clothing from your laundry folding time, what exercises do you do? I also prefer using a dry paintbrush to help dust toys down, super useful. My kids toys get so dusty at times. I wish I had the time like you have now to keep my house so well maintained. You really take care of everything you own - I’m making an effort to do the same.

Putting away laundry is similar for me to ironing for you, I think -- I let it pile up. I don't actually mind, though, b/c I find that most of the time I don't want to do it, but when I get in the right mood I like doing a lot at once - I put on an audiobook or music or light TV show or whatever, and it's kind of a zen escape rather than feeling like a chore.

I would weigh those packages of coffee to make them equal. 😂 I keep my scale out and use it all the time, for portion control and to measure for recipes.

Ironing is not my favourite chore either but I have a husband who worked all his life in an office, so ironing shirts has just been a necessary evil. I start with the sleeves, then the collar and shoulders, and then a front ,back and the other front. This way it just flows and before you know it you have a bunch of shirts nicely pressed and ready to hang up. Did I mention hubby doesnt like tshirts so always wears shirts for casual too?🤦‍♀️😏

Pillows can flatten out. So it helps to reshape them so they look a little bit more full. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi there! It was actually 15. Just couldn’t see the one from that angle. I like the washer to finish washing before my husband gets up at 4 am.

@@27foxplace Thanks. But there’s no way to know how long the automatic cycles are going to take until the machine starts, right? It has to weigh the load and assess the soil level.

I look forward to your videos. I've started putting my wash in the washer the night before. Currently on chemo so it helps if I'm not feeling well. I've not worked since February and I've been placed on disability so being home in my new normal. I've tried to start a routine but it's been difficult.
