Just a tip for anyone wondering! Start off with hot water for the soles of your shoes. Hot water will make it much easier to clean the bottom of your kicks. When the water hits the bowl it will immediately start cooling down. Once you are finished with the outsole and midsole you can then work your way to the upper of the shoe and the water in your bowl should be cooled down enough to prevent any dye from bleeding out of the suede!

How do you use the heat gun to get the marks out the midsole and what does the heat gun look like

I had the exact same situation you described with your wave runners, but with my Inertias lol. Bit scared of a heat gun, gonna try a blow dryer see if I get lucky like you. Wish I could bring them to you but am all the way down in Argentina lmao.
