We are moving into our new home this week. It is crazy but I am most excited about needing a mop. Our old rental home had carpet throughout, even the kitchen and bath - YUCK! Thank you for the motivation and inspiration.

I am like you. Two years ago we bought this home and moved from Sunbury Oh to Coshocton. We did no remodeling but at 68 years old it seemed so daunting at the time. I can't stand living in boxes and never could, so I had to unpack almost everything that same day. On top of that the house was pretty clean, but especially my kitchen I had to clean it first. When it was all done, it was so gratifying and such an accomplishment. I love my house and am so content. I wish the very same for you and your beautiful family!

I agree with the "can't relax until it's all done" train of thought; however, circumstances beyond my control (health issues) have taught me that sometimes I just need to rest. I read a book from a preacher's wife that she ALWAYS tidied up after everyone went off to bed because inevitably they would have people show up at all hours in need of something. So she learned right away to have it presentable and although I'm not a preacher's wife, I thought that's a good rule of thumb to live by. I, too like to clean up after all are in bed. It is a little bit of love that it's all nicer for when everyone gets up. I always like your videos and I don't even have a favorite type, because I like them all. I appreciate the gentle reminders of this is what I'm doing...you can too! 😉
