CCC I just discovered your channel last night!! I love it. I grew up fishing the Mississippi in the 314, 618, and 636. You remind me of my dad, providing food for the table!. You even clean catfish the way we do. But what really impressed me about you is that fact that you know what a Buffalo fish is!!. The Buffalo in my opinion is the best tasting freshwater fish in America!! People pay good money in Missouri Illinois and Louisiana for fried Buffalo plates!! And the rib you cut off the Buffalo, we call the hard side. It has less of those tiny bones. That’s my favorite!! Keep these awesome and family friendly videos coming. My family really enjoy them!!

Very interesting, never caught a buffalo dont have them where we are at but remind me a bit of our salt water black drum large scales but Carp looking head. Never skinned them with pliers just did filet turned it over and remove skin using my bubba filet knife like yours, best filet knife in my opinion. Your catfish seemed to have less blood on meat than my filets. The blood on mine seems to be close to that skin, good tutorial may try it next time I get one.
