Use liquid alcohol based handwash. Fastest way to clean these stains

This is not the right fiber and mix. Use only vinegar; wait 15_20 minutes an scrub with non abrasive cloth. Then rinse and finally Polish with dry (not wet) steel wool grade 0000. Try it and you will notice a substantial improvement with no scratches on chromed surfaces.

Or, use microfibre cloth with dishwashing liquid and spare the chrome from scratches.

Will it work on marble?

Steel wool? Isn’t that abrasive! Maybe not the grade 0000 but I didn’t know it had grades 🤔
