You should get 6.5-7.5 on that 129. Thanks for making these videos and sharing your techniques! One thing I can share with you - everyone always says they have just washed their hands and have no oils, I say the same thing because it’s too much hassle putting on latex gloves. I read a quote from CGC onetime to the effect that the difference between a 9.9 or a 10 and a 9.8 was that the handler had put on gloves. I have found a happy medium - go to the dollar store (Dollar Tree) and buy their pack of 100 plastic gloves. They are cheap but they put that barrier between you and the comic. The nice thing is, they are big and easy to put on and take off.

@@shepherdsknoll this result video has posted on this one (won’t spoil the surprise) As for the gloves it’s more of a handling thing for me. I’m more likely to damage the book due to handling with gloves than I am to leave a residue from the oils on my hands.

thanks for the tip, I have been using a humidity chamber, and it has made the interior pages wet, but has helped in not so much fanning in front of a unit, I had been using silicon paper before the final board on top, but like you say was not allowing book to dry as it was pressed, so rethinking it from what you said. little by little I am getting things done. had my collection graded by PGX ten years ago, and now cracking pressing dry cleaning and having fun.

@@johnnysanchez7465 me personally there isn't a huge price jump from a low grade copy to and upper mid grade copy so I would try to find a 7.0 or better and see if I could make it work. As for CBCS that is tricky, if you are going to keep it forever and don't mind the CBCS you may be able to find a one at a decent price but if you are going to regrade with CGC there is no guarantee of grade being the same. As for where to buy there are tons of Facebook groups and a few sites that deal in comics with much lower fees than eBay so you can find some deals since the sellers aren't paying the extra fees. As for me personally when this copy comes back from CGC I will most likely be selling it to fund my next project book.
