    To anyone about to buy this kit, go with the g35 brake line option. Its the same thing only a bit longer which would allow you to tuck it nicley without running out of line

    Did you order the 350z brake lines or the G35 lines? In every video I've seen, people have been saying the Z lines are too short and have tension. I've even seen one person buy 2 foot lines to extended them.

  • @radieyevanov

    @radieyevanov

    I ordered the 350 lines...if you end up routing it exactly how I did mine you won't have issues, I ended up having nice length in the end...just took me some time to figure out the best way to route it! Can easily order the G lines as well if you wish!

    Nice setup! I just copied it. Luckily my brake lines were longer. How did you secure the T piece from moving ?

  • @radieyevanov

    @radieyevanov

    3 жыл бұрын

    I actually didn't...left it be just as seen in the video. It sits up right against the hole due to the length of the line so doesn't really move, but since there isn't anything to attach it to over there, if I had to do it, I would probably use some epoxy to secure a bolt going up from the trunk floor to attach it to.

    When buying the kit, which calipers should I install?

  • @radieyevanov

    You have to get the same kind that are already on the car! So if it currently has non-brembos then you have to get the same. And obviously on the flip side it it has brembos then you have to get another set of brembos.

    Did you order the left side hand ebrake off gkteck? Or is it the right side im tryna get the outside mount bracket setup just like yours but dont know which side to make it flip like yours

  • @radieyevanov

    @radieyevanov

    4 ай бұрын

    Yes, I ordered it from gktech. It does not flip ie not reversible/flippable. So yes, order it specific. Left side of center console vs right side of center console. If your car is LHD and you want the same set up as mine you would pick the left of center console option when ordering. Cheers!

    So after my install of everything, my caliipers have a slow drip from the back where the fixed end of the gktech line goes in. It drips on both sides and i have also tried two sets of calipers on both sides with neither stopping the drip. any ideas? They are autozone calipers btw.

    The copper washers that came with the GKTech kit are a little larger for a full symetric torquing down, so that could be the issue. I ran another metal washer on mine on top of the copper washer to be able to get it to crush down real good.

    Running different lines in the back with banjo fittings at the caliper ends may fix it!

    That's definitely surprising though...is it a bad leak? Very noticable?! Even without washers you would think there's plenty of thread for it to be fine! Interesting!

    @@radieyevanov its weird but its like a slow drip when no pressure it applied. When the handle is pulled it sort of seeps out a little. The handle itself can hold some pressure for a while but it won't lock the wheels up. It feels like a normal e brake and just slows the car down. After a while you can tell its losing that pressure little by little. No leaks anywhere else either.

    Cleanest install? It's not even in the consol lol. I mean good video but you need to move it closer to shifter and angled towards driver so it's a more natural pull

  • @radieyevanov

    @radieyevanov

    I guess to me it looks cleaner on the side. That's why I refer to it as clean. Putting into console would require cutting of the plastic and more fabrication work which to me does not look as clean. This maintains the center console untouched which I think gives it a cleaner look. For somebody not looking for a true race car but wants to maintain the OEM interior and function it's a great option. Completely reversible too should someone want to remove it. I totally hear you about the pull angle. I was a little worried myself about how that would feel but it actually ended up feeling quite natural to me in that position as it's next to the steering wheel. Well at least to me. 🙃 We are all unique and all can prefer different set-ups obviously which is great. Thanks for watching!

    How has yours held up?! I think I see you have a gktech one too. Once I start running events I may end up preferring to do center console to change the angle... We'll see! I ended up having a leak with mine a couple of months after I installed it which I was very happy I had it on the side because I wouldn't have caught it right away if it was buried in the center console.
