KittyCat 8406 thank you for pointing that out. In deed the mattress is upside down I just double checked the mattress. The stains came out so well that I couldn’t tell which side was up. If you freeze at 2:36 you will see the tag on the right side. Hope that helps.

You turned the mattress upside down for the class part of your video to show a perfectly white side. 4:56 is an Ikea tag. 5:05 are two large white tags in it's place when you're showing how great the stains came out

You're SUPPOSED to turn the mattress - even flip it, periodically (depending on the type of mattress) to prevent sunken spots!

2 table spoons of baking sofa 8 oz/ 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide 1 drop of soap Swirl it around Put it on mattress Wait 30 mins Repeat (Posted for myself so I didn’t have to rewatch lol)

Try using a sieve/sifter to spread the baking soda around on the area to be cleaned then spray on the Dawn & peroxide mix. No clogging. 😀

I've spent about 20 years in the furniture business. Only at the end of this video, is she using a solution on a mattress. (You can tell it's a mattress by the buttons to hold the shape together.) At the beginning of the video, she is using the solution on a mattress cover or mattress protector. (You can tell it's a mattress cover or mattress protector by the looseness of the fabric. Also by how thin that covering is. Mattresses use a much thicker ticking to cover the mattress components.). Instead of trying to clean a mattress cover or mattress protector while it is still covering the mattress, just take it off and wash it in the washing machine using bleach. Much easier than rubbing the solution on each of these "urine" stains with your hand!

Having worked in textiles, longterm the bleach will eat the fabric. This will be an unwanted problem.

I was 100% skeptical about this, but it worked! My cat peed on my bed about a year ago. I tried everything that PetSmart sold to remove stains and odor and my bed still smells like fresh cat pee. I decided to give this a try. I figured it definitely couldn't make anything worse, so why not. Ive only waited 20 minutes to write this because it already worked!!! Subbing now. You rock. Thank you, thank you!!!

Maybe try stirring the baking soda into the hydrogen peroxide and then pour the solution into the bottle. This should help the baking soda dissolve and keep the straw from getting clogged.

I've had nosebleed over night. I just mixed this solution in a bowl. Poured a little on stain and let it sit for minute or so and then used sponge to get the stain out. It worked!

This was an awesome video. It works!!!!! I went with a smaller bucket the second treatment because the spray bottle got clogged.

My dog this morning threw up on my brand new mattress. Looked up some videos on how to remove stain on a mattress came across this video so I had to try it. I'm very impressed cuz it worked. I wish I would of known of this cleaning method long ago because my husband and I had to throw out an old mattress that only had stains. I did tried everything to get rid of the stains and believe I made it worse spraying it with bleach and water. This definitely works guys.

Not that I don't appreciate this (my insignificant other makes a habit of falling asleep with coffee in hand), but there is such a thing as waterproof mattress protectors! It saves a lot of trouble - it stops the coffee, sweat, etc from getting on the mattress in the first place! I wash it when I change the sheets. I have protective covers for our pillows, too - and I wash the pillows every season.

Lol I spilled juice on my matress while I was cleaning my sheets and when I tried to clean it it would spread when it dried. I’ll def be trying this thank you!😆

OMG!!!!! This is the truth. I just did this today and thought I would probably need to do 2 treatments because the stains were old. Maaaannn, I took a nap and remembered I did this. Went to the room turned on the lights no stains. I wished I took before and after pics. KZread University rarely disappoints.

I tried this and this WORKS!! took the stain 99% out! I was surprised a how good this cleaned.

Thanks. Really works! Just want to add a warning to those over eager to get right into it. Make sure you wear your worn out clothes before you do this project. I stained my favorite black pants when i splattered some of the hydrogen peroxide, while using the spray bottle☹

YES IT REALLY WORKS. I actually used this for a pretty large dip spit tobacco stain (I know its gross dont judge me) on a king size mattress and it completely took the stain out after 90 minutes. I sprayed the area a second time 45 minutes after. I do recommend using only two tablespoons like she says at the end. Save the $5 and just use the windex bottle you have at home, plenty "super duty" enough...

NOTE TO SELF 1. THREE tablespoons of *baking soda* 2. EIGHT ounces of *hydrogen peroxide* 3. ONE drop of *soap* 4. Twirl the bottle around 5. Clean off stain 5. set timer for 30 MINUTES

You are THEE best. Your tips worked a treat. I had dried stains on my favourite Dura cover. All gone now. Thank you again.

Totally works!!! You do need a heavy duty spraying bottle, I used a regular one and the baking soda got stock so I had to use a sponge instead.

If you heat the peroxide and baking soda it dissolves and doesn’t clog your spray bottle straw. Put in microwave 1-2 minutes.

I would like to recommend a waterproof mattress cover, there are some really good ones out there! I bought one for my kid's bed and I've slept on it, it's very good quality it doesn't get hot and is not "plasticky" or noisy at all, I got it for a very low price from big lots.

Btw, my son's had his bed for almost 2 years and his mattress is impeccable, he is only seven he has spilled chocolate milk, juice, water, spaghetti sauce....

We used our carpet cleaning machine it took everything out , we use tide in it works great and smells really good.

Y’all realize instead of mixing the baking soda in you can sprinkle it on first then spray the peroxide and soap on. Scrub it in then let it dry. Give it a good vacuum and your done

It worked! I'll be damned it worked! I have a cat that peed or something else that I don't even want to think about. It went all the way through the blanket, comforter, the sheets and mattress cover where it was a big round stain. But did two applications. Waited for it to dry and the stain was gone! Amazed!

Ok so for starters this works! BUT be sure to remember the recipe and don't mess it up like me. Storytime!! I found this video over a year ago and followed the instructions perfectly with great success. Then after more spilled wine I had to spot treat a couple more times but I didn't come back to the video and my memory failed me. I think I used vinegar and water in the mixture. I got it clean enough and then put on a mattress encasement and then a mattress pad. Fast forward to now and I took the encasement off and my mattress was all yellow and gross!!! I found the video again today and now I realize that using the vinegar and water made my mattress way too wet. Anyway just pay attention and do exactly as told so your mattress stays nice and white.

​@@icer989 I don't know but distilled white vinegar won't cause mold so its safe to use and the distilled white vinegar smell disappears

The best thing that works for me is a little bit of hot water and sum bleach. Don't drink the bleach😂 Take a scrubber and scrub it like you trying to clean your browser history. Works every time.

I tried it and this works really good. Probably works better than what you buy at the store.
