Cleaning my oven has to be my least favorite chore of all time. It’s not even a dislike but more like something I dread. A root canal sounds more fun actually. Lol However, this chore is one that needs to be handled once in a while before it gets out of hand and my oven waited for this day for THREE. WHOLE. YEARS!!! I realize some of you have ovens with 30 years of baked on memories but like I’ve said before, this is a judgement free zone!
To clean out your oven you will need:
1- steal wool scuff pad
1-2 boxes of baking soda
1- sponge with a Brillo pad side
1- spray bottle with water
1- small bowl of super hot water
Spray liberally with water and sprinkle heavily with baking soda. Leave fully covered over night. You can close the door. In the morning use your steal wool pad in circular motions to scrub off lightly the baked on grease. It should come right off with ease. For those spots having a little harder of a time. Add more baking soda and water. Let it sit a few minutes and go back. You will want to dip your pad and sponge into the hot water to rinse and for the hot water to help the process along.
