Clean, declutter and organize with me / Messy House Cleaning Motivation / Clean with Me!
I asked the question in this video.. would you rather have stronger shoulders to carry a heavier load? or have a lighter load?
Also, didn't mean to get emotional...
I hope you enjoy!

First off, you are such a wonderful person. Second, I can tell you firsthand that I went from a fulltime working mom to a full-time stay at home and homeschool mom... the mom guilt never goes away. The guilt just evolves into a new reason of mom guilt. Just you having the mom guilt shows that you are a great mom. Love your messages and content 💕

I had the mom guilt clear up until my kids were in high school. I worked 60 hours a week most weeks. So, definitely no time to do anything other than the cooking, cleaning and laundry. I missed just about every tennis match my daughter had. Not by choice, by a crummy boss. But, I recently talked with my kids about this and you know, they said “ mom, don’t put yourself down and feel guilty, we know you loved us and did what you could. You are and have always been a great mom”. So, I know Michelle, you are an amazing mom!! If you didn’t worry about it, that would be a different story! You are amazing girl! ❤

We don’t have our 220 electrical outlets installed in our new house yet so we are having to use our in laws washer and dryer next door. I can only do our laundry for a family of 4 once or twice a week right now due to that and it’s driving me nuts! Will be so glad when all our electrical is finished so we can do laundry whenever again.

I have a 19 year old that graduated last year and she was a competitive dancer since she was 6. She has a 13 year old brother who is a wrestler and now 18 months into being an mma fighter. We own an mma gym as well. So we are so used to not having weekends to ourselves. Thankfully when my daughter started driving at 17 she was able to get herself to practice that helped my load so much!!! I personally grew up being a very busy kid so this is normal and how I like it. But I know some families where one or two nights a week outside of the home at night is stressful.

Hi, Michelle! You're a wonderful person and especially a great mom! I am an emotional person so when I hear people get emotional, it get's me crying. 😁 But I know for a fact, having been watching you for a long time, that you are definitely the mom the girls could ever ask for. Hugs from the Philippines. 🥰

Hi Michelle...try not to beat yourself up. It is tough being a Mom, so give yourself some grace. I too am a Mom of 3, although now they're all grown up and have children of their own, I am proud to say they are wonderful human beings and great Moms too! I carried alot of guilt around, working full time and shift work I missed out on a lot. I was often tired and impatient....and never seemed to have much time to play with them, but I loved them and tried to show it and let them know always how important they are to me. It must have worked, lol they love me!

If you are feeling guilty, it's a sign that you are already doing an amazing job. Mom of 2 boys, ages 18 and 17 and they still give me hugs multiple times a day and tell me they love me daily. I worked out of the house most of their lives, 12-16 hr shifts and am a crazy cleaner. They see all my hard work and appreciate it. ❤ give yourself a break Mama...you're doing a great job.

Yes to both- my husband folds the clothes out of the dryer and then I love out of the clean laundry basket with folded clothes 😂 and a tip- wash your hair and make small-ish braids and either sleep with it in or use your hair dryer to dry it. Put a little gel in before you braid. This will crimp your hair without the crimper!!

We have 4 kids and I’m currently pregnant with twins so soon will be a home of 8!! (So I will need weight loss pointers after December) our oldest homeschools but has a job so we drive her to and from that, our second oldest does track, cheer and softball, our third child does football (he’s amazing at football and has started and played every game since his first year in tackle football at age 8, he’s almost 11)and our current youngest plays basketball. Sports are definitely a commitment, especially with so many kids but it’s so worth watching them grow and develop that coachable mindset and gain skills! Our oldest did competitive cheer for 4 years when she was younger and that schedule was brutal but amazing! So I’d agree with you. I think knowing when you can handle a heavier load and accept the load (our schedules already hectic with 4 and we went through Ivf to get this current pregnancy so we absolutely chose a heavier load) but also knowing what areas you need a lighter load is important too. I think accept the heavier loads in areas you’re passionate and decrease the load in areas that keep you from your passion. We run an e-commerce business so neither of us have to work outside the home very much which frees up so much time and we will both be able to fully retire in the next few years because of it so we will have the finances to be completely free to spend our time in our passion which is with our kids ❤

Abercrombie curve love dad shorts are my new favorite confidence booster. Slightly baggy, flattering, high waisted. Long enough your butts not hanging out and they don’t ride up the inner thighs. Well worth the price. The mom shorts are good too but the dad shorts are by far my favorite.

I do 5 loads of laundry a week and it’s just my boyfriend and I in our home. It adds up! The work clothes, non work clothes, towels, blankets, sheets etc. I don’t fold them straight away, I have 2 pop up mesh laundry baskets on top of the dryer and I fold them when they get full for the most part except for towels which I do fold and put away right out the dryer because they go on the laundry room shelf😇

Family of four: I usually have one day a week that I do a lot of laundry, then I will do additional loads as needed throughout the week. I love kids clothes and we have way too many, but yeah, sometimes you have to just accept certain things lol. I lay the clothes out flat when they come out of the dryer and if I don’t have time to fold them right then I put them on my bed so I have to fold them before I go to bed.

Most of all, I love your discussions and advice, life stories, etc. The voiceovers are awesome. I’ll end with a request: would love for you to do a video where you slow down a little while folding and give more in depth step by steps for your folding method (which I think is mostly KonMari?) I know there are other tutorial out there but I think you’d be great at it!

Hi Michelle, this video was emotional for me too! I get it. Last year after 2 years of pain I ended up in the ER with an abdominal tumor. Thankfully it was non cancerous. It really took a lot out of me and my family. My business suffered my kids, my house everything. Finally after a year I feel like my family and business are well. I need to work on my health! I pushed myself with so much guilt and I get it. We have to just know we are doing our best! Give ourselves some Grace! ❤

Aww Michelle my heart went out to you. The mom guilt is difficult, we all struggle with it. I was mostly a stay at home mom till my kids were out of school (then my MIL almost died and I stayed home to care for her.) and I struggle with guilt because of our finances. I would have been in a better financial position if I would have worked. I did home daycare for some time and then tried other jobs but ultimately our family was better with me home. But I felt guilt because we didn’t always have money for dance lessons etc. I feel like no matter our choices we struggle. Great video! ❤

Hi here in the UK we don’t have a laundry room we have our washing machines and dryers in our kitchens and we iron our clothes we don’t fold we iron ! , we generally wash daily and iron three times a week , then dry clean our suits and ladies dresses ! we iron our jeans then fold and put into the closet , we do not have a walk in closet we have a wardrobe and a chest of drawers only ! and we need to store our shoes in the wardrobe too . we only have one wardrobe and one chest of drawers each ! we do not wear shorts in the summer we wear dresses only ! or trousers / leggings / jeans. but again everything is ironed ! we fold flat so nothing gets creased , or it gets ironed again. all our bedding is ironed ! as it is pure cotton .

It's a painful feeling as a mother to see the days fleeting by as your children grow so quickly. So many times you want to put a box around them and keep them from growing up so fast and inevitably preparing them to fly away on their own and become productive members of society. You and your husband are such hard workers and I know you are and will be instilling good work ethics into them. Maybe at some point you can "retire" from your job and keep youtube going or "retire" from youtube. You cannot do everything, but when you are highly motivated, you always try! :) I'd hate to not see you on youtube anymore, but you need to do what you feel is most important for your family. You are extremely blessed! Praying for you! 🥰 P.S. My babies are now 44 and 41 and I still miss them but now enjoy watching their families grow, and I "painfully" watch the grandchildren growing up so quickly! :)

I understand mom-guilt. But I really don't think you could have it. I think parents are almost to much in there kids "space". They grow and learn independence in a hole other way when the are without there parents. Our job is to keep them safe, feed them, love them, clean them, clean the house, cook, shop......and be there when they need us... not to smother them and keep them "smiling" 24/7. I think that my job is to make them good, confident, independent adults. And I hope they have a good childhood on the way. I thought for a long time that I had to make sure that they had "the best time" 24/7 and stressed myself completely out by trying to be super mom. And they didn't even like it.... you are doing more than enough. ❤❤❤

I think lighten the load, don't wait too many years to figure that out. You will burn out at this pace. You are a busy Mom and wife, but you can not be all things to everyone if you don't take care of you first. I enjoyed this video watching you show your personal journey but my children are all grown now and I see you doing what I did years ago. Remove all the excess you can from your life and look only for the relationships that matter, the experiences that matter and what truly adds value and function to your life. Care on and stay calm you have a beautiful heart.

I am currently tryin to become a minimalist mom with 4 kids and I have yet to regret anything I have decluttered. I have a rule though with things that I might regret later and that is that I could either borrow it, become creative and find a new way to get the same results with what I have decluttered or I leave myself a budget of $100 a year to replace anything I might have decluttered that I find I need. I am a year in and think I have spent $30 of the $100 budget.

I am still new to your channel and I wasn’t able to answer your poll or even see it. However, I am not afraid to admit that I hate cleaning even when I was a kid so I need all of the cleaning motivation I can get and that’s why I’m here. 😂 Even though I wouldn’t mind getting to know you better and chit chatting along the way too. I am definitely not the typical housewife because I work a part time job and I hate cleaning but I still get it done when I get the motivation I need. I do laundry once a week usually on Saturdays and I sometimes live out of the clean clothes basket but I try to get all of my folding done by Sunday to start my week off to a good start. I don’t have any kids yet but my brother in law plays soccer. Also, I was in marching band for 5 years and I considered that a sport even though most people don’t. Thank you for sharing the clips of you trying on shorts, a lot of people do care about body image. However, even though you had 5 children, your body looks amazing. I love my body and I don’t care about what others think, that makes me happier in life. I plan on having 2 kids with my husband when the time is right and when god gives us the opportunity. ❤️🥰 it’s okay you can show your emotions on here, we won’t judge you and we will be there for you. Me and my husband want to wait until we are financially ready and where our work schedules will allow us to take care of our future children before we have them. This summer I will be working at my job, working at my church’s thrift shop, helping with the summer camp at my church, and spending time with my husband and family. I loved this video and I can’t wait for the next one. ❤🥰

When you learn to not carry the load you will have arrived. Cast all your cares on Him leaning not to your own strength but trusting in Him. Because He cares for you. ❤

I am not very athletic. I played softball. My 8 year old son loves football, basketball and baseball, and races snowmobiles! My 5 year old daughter shows no interest in sport, but LOVES Dance!

Hi Michelle thanks for the video. My summer plans include actually working a summer enrichment program for kids. I work in education and my campus does a program every summer for grades K-8. What's so draining IS THE PARENTS. :)

Hello Michelle, thank you for your video! Personally, I would ask to lighten my load. My reason: we have 2 amazing kids. My husband and kids have been diagnosed with ADHD, and my husband and one child are suspected to be autistic. While I appreciate their special effects, as I like to call it, the world out there doesn't understand. Until today we have no diagnosed my child, because until recently nobody believed us. He's 10 years old! Imagine the uphill struggle... I know my shoulders are strong enough, but I'm not there at school. I'm not in sports activities, where my child is bullied. I need people who take that on for me, who believe us and understand he needs support sometimes. - apart from my story: EVERYBODY struggles. We all gave something difficult we're struggling with. It makes us stronger in the end, but while we try to hide this from the world all we can do is be nice. We never know the battles behind people's faces, and can only lighten their day by not making their day worse. With the exception of paying back rude behaviour that makes our life difficult, because, be nice but take no sh*t❤ I try to keep in mind that other people may struggle way harder than I do and are just better at hiding it. And making someone smile might make all the difference. How easy is that?! Greetings from halfway around the world, tiny Luxembourg 🇱🇺

We stay crazy busy in sports and activities. My son is 15. He plays soccer for our rec dept and he does races. He is also in our 4h archery program when we have time. My daughter dances 5 days a week and is on the competition team. She also does a separate gymnastics class at a gym on Sundays. She is also on a competitive swim team in the summer. And she does rifle with 4h when we can. I recently got into running 9 months ago and I do races. My husband, son, and I just joined a kickball league at our campground too.

Oh Michelle, you have the same guilt and doubts we all do. I’m a SAHM and I still feel like it’s not enough. Mine are getting bigger and I’m now trying to find myself again. The worst Moms think they’re amazing and the good ones second guess themselves constantly. I promise you that you’re doing amazing. I don’t need to know you personally to know that ❤️ Hang in there momma.

Yes.. I'm here cuz I need to clean my room but I can't find the motivation to do it. For some reason, I'm really really unmotivated and tired and sleepy all the time. I want to be productive but my body won't move no matter how hard my brain "scream" for it to move and get things done. ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
