I have seen Chappelle live at a comedy club back in the 90s. He was hilarious. There was a heckler in the audience and Dave masterfully dealt with him.
His last stand up I saw on Netflix was crazy! The topics he covered are usually taboo, but he took them on and it was funny as hell.
Yo the Chappelle show is straight up comedy gold best skit show in the history of everything
Holy shit, you guys are actually doing it!

This is a classic, the shame about his show is that it only lasted 2 seasons, and I've owned both season's of the show ever sense it was released and that's been many years.Another good one is the one about Rick James,or The Mad Real World.

There are 3 episodes of the 3rd season Hilarious
A story about this and it’s impact. This was from the first episode and it was the first sketch of the episode. So this is the sketch that introduced Chapelles Show to the country. I was in high school. We all watched it that night and when we got to school the next day things were different. It literally changed the cultural landscape overnight. Memes weren’t around then like now but it was the same thing. Everything from that show got repeated and said at school from day one. It truly made a cultural mark from day one. It was crazy to see. Also, Chapelle isn’t the only brain child. Neal Brennan co created the show and actually came up with a lot, if not most of the sketch ideas. He’s the one who said “show us your face” and “come one brother” and his head exploded. Him and Dave were best friends and created the show together.
I second Charlie Murphy real Hollywood stories! Also Wayne Brady!
He’s the fucking best ever !! We watched all his sketches here in New Zealand when he was blowing up in the 90s I’m shocked the uk didn’t get his early stuff but then again I can kinda understand it
This is EXACTLY what I’ve been waiting for😭
I thought Daz was going to pop at the end there lol. That was my exact reaction to this sketch too the first time. The whole thing is worth it just for that line at the very end. Absolutely hilarious stuff. The thing about Chappelle's Show is that it could've only thrived as well as it did at the time, which was early 2000s, back when people weren't so damn sensitive. And thrive it did.

Dave Chapelle show, Charlie Murphy, Rick James and Prince!
Chappelle Show - The Real World
Key and Peele first episode aired in 2012. The last Chappelle Show aired in 2006. He was never fired. The first two years of his show didn't pay him a lot, but the exposure was the reward. The show exploded. It was a sensation from the first episode (which ended with the Clayton Bigsby sketch). The DVD sales were record setting, and Comedy Central offered a multi-year contract with DVD sales percentages that paid Chappelle $50! Million. A few sketches were shot and the season was set to start when Chappelle walked away from the show. His return to the spotlight took ten years.
They have to watch Dave Chappelle's The Rick James story.
One of the greatest skits of all time. Whenever is shows up on YT with new reactions, I watch it. I still get tears from laughing so hard. Dave Chappelle IS a true genius, and not just comedy!
I've been waiting for this since I saw the first Chappelle's Show clip. Did not disappoint.
Love watching you guys !! Feels like hanging around with some mates everytime !! That’s how it should be ! Good luck guys all the way from Amsterdam .
He knew what comedy was…… it’s to make people laugh at things that normally they wouldn’t....and poke fun at things that need to be addressed without killing one another...
He walked away from a $50 million deal to do more of the Chappelle show. He did an interview on Oprah sort of explaining why.
