I get nostalgic watching this, but I remember being underwhelmed and honestly kind of dissapointed when I got this game back in '93. The gameplay wasn't that great.

Agree. However, the soundtrack was very well done! Still, played the heck out of this game back then. Yet it's sequels, by standards of release, were rubbish. Hard to believe they got away with such horrible gameplay and animations in those years.

It is an awesome song!

Same goes for Bonkers even he came much later in both games, that were within the two games of the Clayfighter series also, for the N64 gamming console also, with Earthworm Jim and Boogerman too however.

I liked Clayfighter 63 1/3 for the finishers

Is this the SNES version or the Arcade version? The audio and graphics look much better than what SNES was putting out. I remember this game in the arcades, standing there watching people play it along with Mortal Kombat and Virtual Fighter. And that other game where all the Dinosaurs fought each other, Rage, or something like that. What was that game called where the announcer yelled UULLLTTRAAAA COOOMMBBOOOO!!!!!

There never was a arcade version! And you are thinking of Primal Rage and Killer instinct.

Anthony Undead Yeah , I used to stand next to the Arcade while my friend played Clayfighter at Wet n Wild and at North East Mall. We also loved Primal Rage and Killer Instinct (In the arcade too). UUULLTTRRAAA CCOOOMMMBBOOOO!!!!!! :)

Hootyhaha Hootyhaha Interplay never made a single Arcade game. If your friend played Clayfighter at an arcade, then it was through a custom machine that housed an SNES or Genesis inside of it. Either that or you're confusing it with another game. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ClayFighter Check the Platform(s) category in the box on the upper right side of the article.

It seems odd that Ickybod Clay appears later in two newer upgraded games, for the N64 instead of the both of these much newer series of the Clayfighter games, that were later made for the console, as stated at the top to begin with also, that was made 3D instead of 2D however, which is stated for these two very old consoles oddly enough however, much to the future of this game series though, of which is now known both only as Clayfighter's Sculpture's cut, and 631/3 which is very odd huh?
