Claverack MX 30+C class 2021 - First Race Ever
Hi, I am just sharing my experience with riding my dirt bike 1st time on a race. I just started riding dirt this summer of 2021 and only have about 15hrs total of practice rides prior to this race. That's about 4days of practice in total before joining my first race. This was held at Claverack MX in Upstate New York, near the city of Hudson NY. Boy, what can I say, this track is so beginner friendly. As you can see, I had a good start but few corners down my bike suddenly died on me. I had rekluse clutchless setup but that didn't help. After my bike died, I no longer had the guts to finish the race. Anyways, I would still love to go back and ride this track again! Such an amazing experience! Have fun watching my boring video!

BTW, my bike has the rekluse auto clutch kit. And I don't know how it died still. Hahaha
Nice job for your first race! I raced this track in 03, 04 on my KX250 2 stroke. My first race in 03 I was back of the pack and this track took a while for me to get the hang of it. The track looks easy, but it is really hard I found with how tight it is, off cambers, and how rough it gets. In 04 I had some good finishes with a 7th in 250C with 50 riders in the class, a 4th in 250C and a 10th in College Boy late in the 04 season. I have not ridden a MX bike since 09, however it was fun while it lasted, now I just ride Mountain Bikes.
Nice job man! I was out there too, my first race in ten years. I was 802 on the red Gas Gas in the blue and yellow gear, you can see me on the inside at the start.
