Azula always had an almost pure evil vibe with few redeeming moments. There only seemed to be one or two moments when Azula actually showed compassion and she seemed to enjoy causing pain and dominating people on most occasions. Claudia on the other hand has shown the ability to have compassion and love. As well as the ability to feel guilt for causing pain. She does dark and evil things but she is a very complex character and has qualities that someone can root for.

They are VERY different characters her and azula... I really hope claudia will have some kind of redemption because she's a really complex character than deserves more than just being the bad/crazy girl (writers don't let me down, I beg you)

Hello from 2023! I find it quite interesting how we get to watch the effect of dark magic on Claudia over the course of the seasons. I’ve noticed a significant increase in her tolerance for other’s suffering, and she’s a lot less happy than she was before.

If they ever had a chance to talk after Moon Nexus - which they didn't - it is 100% certain that Claudia would be thrilled and amazed by the fact that Callum can do magic without primal stone nor magic creatures sacrifices. Viren too by the way. Both of them are - above all else - scholars of magic. However Claudia - just like Rayla - is older than Callum, and even worse remember him as awkward teenager who can't do anything useful. They can be friends but not form any lasting romantic relationship.
