It is clear to me now that I greatly underrated Fay Wray as an actor. The close-ups in this film provide conclusive proof.

Claude Rains was so masterful in the movie Deception with Bette Davis the dinner scene is a treasure. Thank you for this film, my 1st time seeing it 🌸🌝🌺 Could you please show us Deception ❤

Claude Rains....one of the most prolific actors whose voice was liquid gold. He was masterful in Notorious- surpassing even Ingrid Bergman & Cary Grant & the same in 'Casablanca' with Ingrid & Bogart. I watched Claude in 1949s 'Passionate Friends' co-starring Ann Todd & Trevor Howard the other day, it was wonderful. Fay Wray? I'm currently reading: 'Fay Wray & Robert Riskin: A Hollywood Memoir'... highly recommend. Fay was lovely, skilled, professional & she lived to be nearly 100. A life very well-lived.
