freeze- you have taken the seat and confirmed float- you have chosen to hold the seat allotted to you, but want to go further to see if youre getting a better college in the next lists. exit- you choose to not take any college and opt out of the process. in case you were not allotted any seat in the first list, you can float to next lists til the end.
