Amazon wish list and extra supplies

I had those desks in my old school's classroom. I never did this, but to prevent them from moving around, you can try zip-tying the legs together in the groups you want. It'll keep them together, but it's an easy cut if you want to rearrange them

I have triangle desks, too! All our desks and chairs and also on wheels. I just have them in groups of four. I don't have a solution to the problems these desks cause.

I had those desk for years. I did rows like you or groups of 3-4. I like to anchor the rows at the end with a small bookshelf for that contain that row's supplies/books. It helped with the movement of them. Now, I have puzzle piece tables- not much better.

I may move my cubbies to the end of the rows to anchor them! Great idea!

I had those desks for 7 years and they frustrated me too. I often put them in pairs so I could make rows or they were in groups of 3 or 4. This year, I'll have square desks with the attached chairs. I'm glad to be able to have more options for seating again. Hope you have a great year!

I have rectangle desks with separate chairs. I'm going to zip tie the legs of desk groups together this year!!

I love these! I make table groups of four with them. I even had a teammmate make a large circle out of them. Or a line of tables.

I wish my room was big enough to do a large circle because I think it would be so cool! I usually do a groups of 4 as well but there will always be a student's back to me :(

Our desks are like that, too. Not a fan. We had the connected desks and the triangle was the "upgrade" 100% agree with everything you said. I keep them in groups of 4-6 because that is all I can do. :)

@AMessyBunTeacher Yes and no. I loved that they were square and could be put in groups, but many were broken, and some students had trouble getting in and out of them.

I have the same desks…I hate them…but before that, I had the chair attached ones, and hated those too because groups were difficult lol!! I think ideally I would do tables or something. I don’t know!

I think there are pros and cons for all desks and tables! I think whoever will create the ideal classroom desk will be a teacher for sure 😜

My desks are goldfish cracker shaped. I’d much prefer a regular rectangle desk.

For my door I'm writing "5th Grade the best place to "BEE"" with bees and the names of each student on it. Corny I know but I thought it was a cute idea. Alicua from CT

I usually do groups of 4 but there were always multiple students with their backs towards the board and myself :(

I teach HS and have those desks. I begged for tables and now only have a few of those desks. Ask anyone you know who plays tennis for old tennis balls and put them on your chairs. That saved my sanity last year. The screeching of chairs on the floor drives me insane.

My friend bought tennis balls for hers and loved them! But they were pretty pricey.

Getting new furniture…chairs delivered today with a barstool exactly like yours…I hope we don’t get a high table….guess I could use for lab days…desks are due to be delivered tomorrow, wish they consulted teachers first.

NY we have awful trapezoid desks 🫣 you can’t do anything with them where all the kids can see the board

YES! That is our biggest complaint! I will always have kids' backs to the board :(
