Every best line is in LN but that said they did a good job in anime too by slightly varying that line. I also missed this legendary line in which Ryuen was describing kiyotaka when searching for "X" ""There is someone who could read the situation perfectly.someone who managed to completely predict everything.someone who could read everyone's thought patterns.someone who planned the script as the scrip was written down" -Ryuen, describing ayanokoji.

‏Note: The shot of Ryuwen strangling Ayano was a clip from the studio out of pity towards Ryuen because the actual fight he couldn't touched Ayano except for the shot that Ayano made him beat him for an experiment the fear

@@teddymecheto also they were nice to Ibuki. In LN, when she attacked Ayanokoji was casually noticing her panties while easily dodging. Got bored, and then chock slammed her into the ground

6:28 his inner monologue that they skipped (like 99.99% of his inner monologue) was: "After getting my hands on a pawn like Karuizawa, letting her go would be a waste. How necessary she was to my plans was secondary; what mattered most was ensuring she stayed under my control." So kinda true.

The choreography in this episode was ridiculously well animated, pleasantly surprised.

*"If you're coming for me don't shout".* The most realistic thing I've heard in Anime.

In the anime they hide It, but in the light novel, you can Tell that he really cares for kei, at least a little. The author explain that koji contradicts himself , and the best choice for him was actually letting kei with ryuen and dont showing UP, but for a reason that the novel dont show us , he goes save her.

Small extras from the LN: out of all 4 fights, the only one where he actually tried is Albert. He commented that Albert's body is gifted and trained well beyond a high schooler, so he couldn't afford to take hits from him and actually attacked his weak points, the solar plexus and the throat. Ibuki had it a lot rougher, Ayanokoji commented that he can see her panties due to the high kicks, and once he got tired of that he grabbed her by the neck and slammed her into the ground to knock her out. They also cut Ayanokoji's inner monologue before he knocked Ryuen out "You may have planned to manipulate my heart but unfortunately for you I don't have a heart that can be manipulated"

Ayanokouji clapped ryuen and his children lol :) But still Albert's sunglasses is such a gigachad. Even Ayanokouji couldn't make them fall ! ^^b

Kinda sad to not see it get adapted but overall im really satisfyed with this episode. They cut out a lot of kinda important dialoque with Koji and the teacher about the rules of the school which also showed Ayanokouji was stalling and kinda let Ryuen torture Kei instead of stopping it asap

Ayanokoji did care about the butler killing himself he was probably the closest thing you’d call to a human connection for him that’s what makes it sadder

In this whole episode, ayanokoji still doesn't even use half of his strength.

The fact that if we use scaling... He showed literally less than 10% of what he showed against Hosen, or against Nanase, Shiba and Tsukishiro, oh and Ichika. All of those instances were literary superhuman. And what's worse that it's also not his 100%

He really went easy on Ibuki in the anime 😂 cause in the LN he choked and slammed her on the ground 😂😂

Arisu Sakayanagi (leader of class A) actually knew Ayanokoji. Not sure why the anime did not create their meeting scene during episode 6 or 7. Some fans are still hoping Arisu meeting with Ayano scene will be shown in episode 13. Watch again episode 10 where Headmaster mentioned he knew Ayanokoji because he used to work for his father.

Piano, Calligraphy, and Tea Ceremonies put to good use in this fight! This is why u don't mess with the guy that knows Piano, Calligraphy, and Tea Ceremonies

Imagine getting beat up by someone with a straight face. Now that's scary

With every day passing in the school Ayanokoji is slowly returning to his prime what's scary is when Ayanokoji is at his best he is a total monster and even he himself knows this .

The fight scene animation, choreography is good in this episode, they were saving the budget for this one i guess...

Light spoiler that doesn’t matter that much He’s actually not so bad at piano fr!

What he meant by "this will do" is that like he said he orchestrated this Violence thing because he wanted to see if Kei would betray him or not this was a test when he saw she didn't after everything he put her through he realises she is a lot more then just some "useful tool".

at the end, even if it's just a glance, you can see his gaze turn to concern for her like he truly care.

Ryuen that day learned the fear of calligraphy.

Ayanogod actually knocked albert in one hit and actually let albert punch him. He monologed that albert is strong and shouldn't play around. So he one shotted albert by punching the sternum,a part which you can't train. And he also choke slammed ibuki lmao. Anime is showing so much pity. He never let ryuen hit him once. The LN fight happened at the roof tops but this is fine. Cool aesthetic with the shadows. And they also used crispy motion sensor animations. 10/10 ep. All the budget went here lol.

Nice reaction ! There is something the anime changed from the LN, actually the anime depicted the other Class C students as being quite fine doing what they did to Karuizawa and trying to hurt Ayanokoji. But in fact in the LN the guy who was under Ryueen's orders was quite horrified to do this and obeyed only because of his fear of Ryueen, but he truely didn't wish to do this kind of stuff. Only Ryueen was composed and calm about all of this. Also, when Ayanokoji arrived they were in a situation where no side could speak out to the school about what's happening, because it would mean that Kei's secret and the identity of the mastermind would be revealed to everyone, but Ryueen's violent actions would be exposed (which could cause expulsion), that's why Ryuuen concluded that whatever happens, nobody will talk about it to the school, however he never anticipitated that this would work the opposite way when Ayanokoji would destroy them by himself. Also Albert's strength was quite nerfed as in the LN, Kiyo blocked one of his punch at full power and he felt quite a bit of pain as Albert's physical strength is way beyond the strength of an average high schooler, he then decisively hit him in the throat and finished him off with a kick. It's suspected that Ryueen held his own longer than Albert only because Kiyotaka didn't want to finish him off too quickly and was holding back a lot. And Kiyotaka also handled Ibuki more brutally in the LN by slamming her hand on the ground to knock her out.

However this show is a slice of life comedy ( which has heart-warming scenes too ) so it's a breath of fresh air after watching psychological dramas. This is honestly such a comfort show to me, not only did it save me from boredom, it saved me from bad and sad days as well. I hope you react to it ^^

For the first time in this season ,i can easily say that the anime outperformed the LN ,the fight was well choreographed too ..like everything from the setup to conclusion was on point plus the improvisations they did ,omg ,i was like so satisfied with them. It literally felt like a Seinen street fight and ngl the narrative balance and the action sequences were in sync ... I hoped Ayano would say his dialogue of not having a heart to manipulate (the exact one) but it was pretty much clarified one way or another ...Kei's monologue was kept short ,idk the reason but anyway ..and as for Ryuuen ,dude got his ass whooped and i savored the every second of it Yeah and it's also important to note that the promise Ayano made to Manabu was totally different than what they showed in anime ..i'm not gonna give spoilers here but the anime actually jumped a gun with horikita's involvement in council nevertheless it was well executed

ryuen’s backstory isn’t deep or anything. back when he was younger he was at school(or something) and the students seen a snake and were scared. ryuen was confused as to why everyone was scared (since he’s never felt fear) so he killed the snake. the anime didn’t do well with portraying that so people tend to get confused on why he killed the snake. basically we got that flashback cuz its a perfect example of his claim of not feeling fear.
