This show would’ve been god tier if it came out 10 years earlier. The part that really weights it down because of how generic the plot becomes now that the overpowered mc troupe has been used so much. (At least it’s not an isekai though)

lol, if this came out 10 yrs ago i think i’d look at it harsher cause there’s tons of anime out 10 yrs ago that did concepts similar and better. but yeah atleast it’s not an isekai. but the isekai would probably be more fun to look at.

Ranting about an anime that has shit adaption is common even the light novel fans of cote hate the anime they legit skip every part of the light novel and the character writing and put edgy parts in it while the light novel it gives you depth of kojis actual character writing like in the hirata sence in the anime he says "that should do it" in the light novel he actually wants to cry with a friend and support hirata the light novel cleans the fuck out of the anime its actually insane. At this point the anime is its one thing i mean the amount the skip and the character writing is actually unreal it made the whole cote community of light novel readers just hate on it. Cote anime is the tokyo ghoul treatment.

I mean as a fan I don't like the anime at all its ass I agree but if you read the actual light novel you will see the amount of skipped lore and unfinished shit they did in the anime. They really fucked the adaption on this one bro

I mean when u said escalated the amount of stuff they skipped on that is actually unreal bro light novel actually covers this whole thing and the amount of lore that has never been in the anime. The whole fanbase of cote hates the anime they don't give it good animation and just skip whole lot of shit character writing on people the aura it just fucks it up Lerche just did trash job animating cote. Cause trust me koji isn't edgy in the light novel he's actually understandable and has depth into himself bro actually has a personality with him within his POV's.

The wasted potential indeed the anime legit put 4-5 volumes into 12 episodes the volumes have 350 pages each they skipped so much

Like I mean kojis whole X strategy when facing ryuen was so skipped the amount of misdirection and planning he did is unreal in the light novel they never tell it perfectly at all in the anime.

i 100% with you i’ve done my research on the light novel and liked what i found it’s just anime’s the most accessible for me. though when i saw the LN I genuinely was so confused like is this even the same story? thanks for your comment, take care and thank you for watching.
