I love all the little things you do to support your students, like drive 2 hours to see them or dress like them! You are simply awesome!

"I have some kind of meeting today, but I'm not sure what it is." That's completely me this past year. We had weekly Monday after school meetings, 2 PLCs a week, grade level meetings, etc. It was a lot.

That baby bath stuff does help for migraines but the lavender kind helps even more! I have chronic migraines and I use it all the time. ☺️

Michelle, you need to get a Xyron machine! I just got one and I’m in love! You can use it to turn your printables into laminated stickers or magnets. It’s seriously awesome and I’m not sure why I waited so long to get one.

So fun! A couple of weeks ago I got a freebie escape room to try from the same seller. I can't wait to try it with my first graders next year (already on summer break)! I'm going to try whole group first to see how we handle it.

I have this exact escape room from last year but did not have time to use it. I now teach 3rd grade so I hope I can find it for the current grade level I teach. My classroom is also a pirate theme decor. Thank you for the feedback and insight on the product!

Hi Michelle, clicked on this as soon as I saw it. I have an interview today for y2 and I am doing an escape room from this exact seller!! I will keep you posted to how it goes!

I did an escape room with my fifth graders when I was student teaching and they loved it! I think it was the same seller. Definitely planning on purchasing one when I get my own classroom.

I think it would be very cute if you turned your green wall into a “growth” wall. You could measure each student at the beginning of the year and remeasure at the end of each quarter or the end of the year to see how much they’ve grown. It would be cute on the green wall if you put grass and butterflies and birds and things and maybe some words about growing? I think it would be a nice touch and a good use for the green wall

The escape room looks like so much fun! I wanted to do it in my class but my room wasn't big enough for it :( luckily were moving to a new building next year so hopefully I have more space and can do more hands on activities with my kids :).

I've actually just started making a government focused escape room for grade 5/6 and I'm having so much fun with it. I'm not currently teaching so I have plenty of time and am looking forward to being able to try out my resources.

Also, I find that it really gets me off track and frustrated if a student hasn’t turned work into me from a month or so ago and then want me to reteach it.
