What an amazing way to teach, this popped up in my feed, and I found it throughly amazing
I'm an Ethiopian and most of these Hebrew words are the same as the words in my native language Amharic. Lovely.

You are wonderful Beth, ✅✅✅✅✅ Unmissable lessons 🙋Thank you! I too have been studying modern Hebrew for many years as a self-taught, and I have learned from experience that the best approach to this language is the opposite to the usual languages: first comes the spoken language and then the written language.
So easy to learn this way!!!
Super.Thank you
Super easy 😍🙏 Toda.

Excelente !!!!! Shalom.
Wow! So you all have a Hebrew school in Mexico?? Awesomeness!
Estou amando essas aulas em sala de aula... alelu yah sempre e muitas bênçãos e suas vidas. Bjs
Wow this is excellent. yaphe meod. It is kind nice and sad that I am doing the second person, first person in my head. The traditional textbook I have learn gives the vocab in the third person so it takes a few second to figure it out back from the chart. So while I know to read and write, to speak it out and converse is much tougher. Shalom
Incrível!!! Muito obrigada 😄

Your videos are AMAZING - so useful and helpful. Well done! Is there any chance you could moved the subtitles up just a bit please? So that they are not right along the timeline at the bottom? When I press pause to read the subtitles the time line cuts right across the text.

Does the fact that Shev, meaning sit, have any thing to do with “sitting sheva” when a family member passes and the surrviver lower themselves by sitting in a low chair to receive mourners for sheva, or seven days.?? How does one say, “sitting sheva” in Hebrew? Is that the root or Shabat? I’m hope these questions don’t annoy you.
@AlephwithBeth

I believe that sheva in the phrase "sitting sheva" is from the root שׁבע 'seven', while the root of the verb 'to sit' is ישׁב.
