And because Music expresses everything the composer and singer is thinking of, people in the future who didn't get a chance to witness him as a Singer performing, can still appreciate the work he has left behind.

the space trilogy from she is (orbit, moon, aurora) is some of jonghyun's best stuff really. truly inspired! i love the lyrics so much too, "like a colorful curtain fluttering" is one of my favorite lines from anything. it's just such a simple but striking metaphor. also now i kinda wish they'd listened to moon too, to complete the trilogy but also because it's def the sexiest hahaha

I love so many artists but Jonghyun is special. He makes me /feel/ the music. It’s like when I’m listening to his songs nothing else exists other than the world his music creates. I feel engulfed in the atmosphere he creates. There is something so indescribably beautiful and haunting about being able to do that with music. You could tell he puts all of his passion into singing, something I don’t see in many artists. I still feel connected to him when I hear his music.

Thank you for this! For having people enjoy his music and vision without preconceived notions. It's so humbling to see that and it gives me an insight into what his process might have been like when writing his songs. Like when it's digested by people who study music and catch on things I might have overlooked, it makes me see the songs in a whole different way and see how meticulous and purposeful each note and lyrics and instrumentation was. Like Jonghyun is a genius, and hearing these kinds of comments and reactions proves my point. Thank you for always remembering Jonghyun and keeping is artistry alive.

Jonghyun = Quality Music. He's a genius musician. Not just another kpop idol.

Jonghyun's music really pulls you in and there's no other artist that I've heard who does it like him. Like I have to remind myself that I'm walking down the street and need to watch for cars when the songs he wrote come on cause my brain can't focus on anything else. Jjong's songs are so special to me and I always enjoy seeing those who really understand music react to them. Thank you Umu for this treat! If Henry wants more baby making music you should give him Moon and Suit Up to react to. (btw, Jonghyun called his own songs good for baby making on BlueNight radio and I can't help but think of that)

So, I recently finished student teaching and teach on the weekends... and almost every react vid I've thought: "Could I use this in a music class?" and have to sift out the stuff that would get me in trouble with an administrator. If Umu ever wants to do a Music Educators React vid, you bet I'll be up for it (along with Charlotte, Peyton, Leah, and others).

I have always been a Shawol but to my regret didn't really listen and get into Jonghyun's solo music until after he was gone. I only ever listened to his title tracks and it wasn't untill he was gone that I went back and listened to all his albums in their entirety and I was blown away. Even someone like me who knows nothing of music can see that he poured his heart and soul into his music. I'll never forget him I will remember him for the amazing person and artist he was. Glad that to see you still remembered Jonghyun and made videos about him. I would like to recommend another song from Jonghyun, “Crazy (guilty pleasure)”. This is a song from his first solo album “Base”. Before becoming an idol trainee, Jonghyun was used to be a bass player in a band. Therefore, “Crazy” is a relatively rock n’ roll song, which is rarely seen in K-pop. Hope the channel can video reactions to this song.

jonghyun is such a talented lyricist and provided so many unique concepts and ideas through his songs. i never get tired of listening to his solo albums and reading the lyrics simultaneously--there's always something i notice that i missed before. he truly spoiled us with these masterpieces :))
