Classic Tailback - Rashaan Salaam Colorado Highlights
A compilation of some of Rashaam Salaam's highlight's at the University of Colorado. After a few fairly productive seasons, Salaam exploded in his last year to become Colorado's first and only Heisman trophy winner after a 2,000 yard season. He combined with Kordell Stewart to lead the Buffaloes to a near-championship in 1994.
The games I used to take the clips from can be found on Stephen Barnett's youtube channel (and there were a few other channels I used as well that you can find if you look around): / sbbarnet. .

He was one of my favorite college RBs of all time. Loved his vision and power. RIP RS.
My favorite College Running back as a teenager. I remember I asked my stepmothers parents for a Rashaan Salaam jersey for Christmas because they lived in Strasburg Colorado, the first town I ever saw where people waved at each other just because you lived in the same town. They got my jersey gift wrapped at the store and when I opened the gift it was the wrong Jersey from CU, not a Salaam jersey. Salaams jersey was sold out everywhere and I never got my Rashaan Salaam jersey, I tried my friend RIP, God Bless you and your Family. layubarkuk aalrub One Love. <3 -ko

Rest in Peace Brother
Rip to a Cu Great
Great runner, but those holes were HUGE! Great line! RIP.
R.I.P. I loved him when he played for my Bears, tragic to die at 42 years young.
🙏🏿 Rest In Peace 1 of the 4 San Diego Heisman Winners
Rip one of my favorite running backs when I was growing up!!!
Legends never die kid.
Me and my little brother loved watching him play and thought he would rip the NFL open. Didn't know he passed away.
Still one the greatest 8 man football players ever. RIP
Colorado Legend!
I never heard of Colorado U until I heard of Rashaan Salaam. He carried that program.
Was fortunate enough to be classmates with Rashaan a year or two before he bowed out. Famous people make me nervous, but he was humble and understood. Tank of a man. An inch taller than me and had muscles in places I didn't know existed. Wish I'd have tried harder to become friends... I always assume the famous would have nothing to do me. Their time is valuable, so I try not to waste it. Anyway, our class ended and I didn't hear about him until, well, you know what happened. Sad.
Rest easy sir. As a Bears fan I loved watching your great rookie year. Hope your at peace
R.I.P to a San Diego legend
