My first sled was a brand new 73 Chapparral SS-3 440. Not the fastest but one of the best handling of the 73-model year. Brings back many great memories. Loved the video.

This really makes me feel spoiled being able to order all kinds of rare parts on the internet. I can't imagine I would've been able to get my 303 running well if I got it in the early nineties. Lots of respect for the gentleman who completed restorations back then!

My first sled was a Ski-Doo 440 FA. Bought it used and was it well used. I worked on that sled until I gave up and bought a new 9500 Blizzard from Trittsue,Sno-Shop Lewisburg Ohio. That was 11 Ski Doo's ago. And I still remember working on that original 440 FA long into the night.

Nary a mention of the brand that woke them all up on what is a precision machine: YAMAHA. Yamaha shook everyone up, including Bombardier.
