Had an Sx with a Honda 205 conversion and a GP with a 240 TS1.....Both lovely scoots....I do miss my scootering days.

The Vespa was fine with the spare wheel under the left bubble. The SX succeeded the GT (TV175) which would go off the clock at over 70MPH. The SX had the TV175 gears and a lower compression and was pretty much regarded as a step backwards by GT owners! These little 2 stroke engines were very powerful for their size and a lot of fun. The EU destroyed them with legislation.

Front disc brake and twin front shocks were on the series 3 TV 175 of 1963

Had an sx200 wish i still had it, think i sold it for about £10 about 35 years ago, what a pillock i and was lol 😂

Brings back memories, I had a Lambretta LI 150 Slimstyle, bought from my brother in law. They were heavy because of the paneling so some guys used to remove the side panels. You couldn't take you hands off the handle bars as it had no inherent stability due to the small wheels and it would fall over. Mine had the separate seats not like the one in the video.

Great little video....Just WISH they would let us HEAR those motors. Always overdubbing with music...I wanna hear Pa, Pa, Pa, Pa.

The Ss90 does 90kmh not 90 mph

Two bad these companies resisted going to 4 cycle engines when 2cycle were deemed pollution makers. They killed the demand. Japanese small bikes took over.

my country are vespa heaven but the gl and gs are f**king rare , maybe 10 for gs and i dont know for the gl that come to my country

vespas never handled at all with their engines on the side every tie u opened up on any bend the scooter wanted to go strait even the GS 150 had a good acceleration the Lambretta was far far better

@Theraphim Hebraeorum try cornering a little heard n open up with the Vespa engine right on the side of the wheel the thing just wants to go strait Lambretta was shelfed after it was bought If i remember right by BMC the NSU prima handles better n so did the Zundupp Bella that was actually the best, by the way Lamborghini was making tractors remember/ B4 the Muira came out? the only advantage Vespa had well the GS 150 anyway was acceleration u never went to motor bikes at all? after?
