Yes friend!!! I am very lucky that they bring me these beauties and to be able to touch them with my hands. Without a doubt a jewel, which belonged to the Reynolds team from 1986 to 1987. Greetings friend and thanks for commenting ; )

Wow! Was searching "Pinarello restoration" when I found this video. And what a beauty you have. Looking for inspiration from old Pinarello bikes to maybe apply to my modern carbon fiber Pinarello FP3 should I break down and repaint it. I'm guessing, but I think it was built 2010-ish. Some of my builds are period correct, but some builds I like to do as "retro-mods", combining modern and vintage components and aesthetic. I'd thought if I sanded, prepped and painted my slightly shabby and dated looking frame, I might decal it in the old logo. Just a thought.

Beautiful videos. Astute and precise wrenching. I love watching your work; this is fast becoming my favourite KZread channel. It would be really helpful to know what kinds of tools you are using. Maybe a list of tools for the videos. More work, I know but very much appreciated. I can see you use Park Tools. If you have recommendations for those of us who want to get started. I have a mechanic. He is really good. But I want to do my own wrenching, and I’d like to get into classic bike building. I have ridden a bike my whole life, since the age of 5. I was an aspiring Olympic gymnast from ages 6-16; the bike (and swimming) were my cardio training. Any advice on tools are very much appreciated. Thanks for a great channel!

Those rims look like they were used in the pro peloton with the special Mavic stickers. I have a set like that with those stickers. Edit: yeah with the number plate braze on I bet the was a pro’s bike.

Is this a Reynolds’s Team bike from the 80’s? I’ve seen Delgado’s bike with”Perico” painted like that “54”

Hi Rodney!!!! that's right friend!!! This is an official bike from the Reynolds team, I was lucky enough to find it and the man who sold it to me told me that one of the Reynolds mechanics from the 80s sold it to him.
