Bro that melody is so weird, but in a good way 🔥

No hate intended but this sounds nothing like old ripsquad lol. He usually used dp drums (or the icedancer kit) with a heavily reverbed melody from something like sylenth or system-8 with really intricate hi hats, snares & percs. The melodies are usually pretty intervalic with a lot of 1, 5 and 7 notes, usually a repeating 1 bar motif with a variation. It's a pretty distinctive style. But you did get the grossbeat right lol

id recommend rendering down stuff you wanna pitch down esp if ur trying to get interesting results. you can adjust the bitrate of said sample depending on how much you want the sound to change from being pitched down. way more freedom with your sound than using the -12 preset on grossbeat and it's easier on your CPU as well
